Cafe On Queen

I am in the entertainment industry so have to be extremely careful about what I eat so the abundance of bakery style breakfast spots available in Bendigo filled me with a quiet panic when myself and my band rolled into town on tour a few weeks ago.
After an hour or so of searching something both nutritious AND delicious to eat I stumbled upon this hidden gem just slightly up from the main drag and I was not disappointed!
Café on Queen caught my eye, firstly, because of the Alice in Wonderland style décor and secondly because of its diverse, healthy and incredibly delicious menu choices. I ordered some smashed avo on wholewheat bread with poached eggs and veggies and it was amazing. The coffee is also top notch!
Highly recommended for those who love good food, good service and good atmosphere.

This place is a little café that’s kinda tucked away between the many bakeries and cafés that Bendigo seems to offer these days, so tucked away that it’s easy to walk past. One very yucky cold day I looked at it and though ‘…yeah why not’ and went in for a coffee, since then I’m glad I gave it some attention.
The baristas are lovely, the atmosphere is chill, the white wicker seats are sooo comfy (kinda wanna steal them so I can have them at home lol) and the coffee is so rich and smooth that it can either complete a relaxing afternoon or help relieve the pressure of a terrible day.
So if you feel like shutting yourself away for 10 or so min, then this little hidden gem is just waiting for your time :)
