Fantastic, as always! There were 3 of us that dined there at Mason’s last night. We got the black rice arancini, duck san choy bao spring rolls, the pork belly bites, beef brisket, ricotta gnocchi, roasted Kent pumpkin & the royal blue potato chips. It’s sounds like a lot of food, but luckily the serves are share plates & usually only a couple of bites so we had just the right amount of room left for dessert(OK, if I’m honest I was absolutely STUFFED but isn’t there always room for dessert.) Not only is the food delicious but the gentleman serving us all night did an amazing job too. Super lucky to be going back there tonight for another birthday dinner ;)

What can you say this is the best resturant ever that bendigo has. There are a lot of good places to eat but awesome food.

I thank whatever wind it was that tossed me into Bendigo and onto Queen Street to find this place. The owner kindly got us a seat at 6PM as long as we were done by 7:30. I thought that was odd since it was a Weds night — what kind of restaurant in a small town is fully booked on a Wednesday night? I’ll tell you what kind. A restaurant that has a focused menu with fair portions at a fair price made with the highest quality local ingredients with love and attention that is rarely seen these days. It’s then served by a wait staff that know their stuff and care about what they do. If you are ever this way — book yourself in. Order whatever looks good — we had the lamb chops, scallop appetizer and the quince crumble. Absolutely nothing needed seasoning! Perfect!
