Probably the cheapest place to eat in this part of London, the Mojo is the unsubsidised café for the new City Lit, and very nice it is too. I had bangers and mash for £3.50, three sausages and two scoops of mash. There is free drinking water from a dispenser past the service counter on the left, towards the comfortable sofa and chairs.
The only thing that spoiled the experience was the attitude of the guy serving, who was quite happy to talk to the woman in front of me but didn’t say a word to me. Maybe he thought i was gay? And he gave her three scoops of mash as well.
They are doing a christmas lunch on the 3rd and 4th of December and the other choices today were a chickpea casserole thing for £3.20 and jacket potato with one topping for £2.20.
