Kids Cavern

Oh. My. Did someone say mini Vivienne Westwood shoes? Oh yes. Kids Cavern is an impeccable children’s store that sells Westwood jelly shoes, amongst many other fantastic things. To be a child again and to be taken to this store would be a dream, although it’s difficult to imagine someone of such a young age having the correct appreciation of wonders like these.
With designer brands from D&G to Ralph Lauren, your child would definitely be the most stylish for miles around if you shopped with them here.
The store has a beautiful layout, and the staff are keen to offer assistance.
Cute. But expensive.

Kids Cavern is one of those shops that’s clearly aimed at aspirational parents. By this, I mean parents that desperately want their children to be the hippest, coolest and most fashionable.
Upon first glance, you could be forgiven for thinking it’s just an incredibly stylish childrenswear store. Look closely at the labels however, and you’ll see everything is designer from Ralph Lauren Junior, Diesel and Evisu to D&G, Boss, Ed Hardy Kids and Armani Junior. Personally, I’m all for pink and white tee-​shirts emblazoned with Run DMC in diamanté studs and skulls and tattoos with slogans like Love Kills Slowly. I can’t imagine many six or eight year olds really getting any of the references though, can you?
Naturally, such designer names comes with designer price tags. I’m not a parent myself but if I was, I can’t imagine shelling out £70 for a pair of Gaultier shorts or £150 for a pair of Dior trainers. Not unless they expanded over the years that is! The Vivienne Westwood peach and pastel jelly shoes with pillarbox red love hearts however, would probably be harder to resist!
