I have visited this restaurants numerous times and i do wonder why. Mainly because friends have wanted to try it out. It is nothing special just your average run of the mill Chinese restaurant. It does have good offers but i have never managed to experience this. I find it to be fairly over priced for the portion size but the service is OK and the atmosphere average. If you fancy a Chinese and your local to this restaurant i would give it a try but nothing to go out of your way for! There are better Chinese restaurants in hove, namely Dannys and China Inn both are great with very fresh produce and good sized portions at a good price!

Not good at all. Very greasy, loads of MSG. Surly staff to top it off.

China Hins is an authentic Chinese restaurant and takeaway in central Hove. They offer an all you can eat buffet which at £17 is not cheap, but demonstrates the quality ad authenticity of their food. Having only ever eaten takeaway food I can’t comment of the venue itself. The takeaway was one of the best I’ve had in Brighton, the dishes were all a cut above anything else I’ve had and I was more than happy to pay a little more for the privilege.

Having tried pretty much all the take-aways and restaurants in Hove(a real eye opener!), I have to say this is my favourite in the area for Chinese. The staff are always very welcoming and, although perhaps a bit more expensive than other places, the food is delicious. It doesn’t suffer from the overly salty, gloopy, greasy style that lots of chinese restuarants seem to like serving these days. My wife and I often take friends and family here, and we have honestly never once had a bad experience in over 15 visits. The roast pork noodles are some of the best I have ever had. If the prices were a bit lower, I would have given 5 stars!

All you can eat for £17 is no way near as cheap as you can get in the city centre but they charge a price that reflects the quality of the food and not just cheap, nasty bits thrown together. I took people to this place that didn’t really like Chinese food and they enjoyed it thoroughly although we did get all you can eat as it meant that they would pay for something they didn’t like. I would advise to order from the normal menu as it is even better quality and try something that you haven’t had before as it always leads to a better time as you can share with the partner.

Despite offering a takeaway menu, China Hins is better as a restaurant. With its traditional décor and service it’s somewhere you’d go for a bona fide Chinese experience. The food is everything you’d expect but sometimes a little too MSG-heavy. Also, the service can seem rushed but if you watch the staff you soon realise they are just very attentive. It’s good value and worth a visit, although I’d go elsewhere for a special occasion.

China Hins is a really quaint Chinese with cute white table clothes and mini chandeliers. Its situated in the heart of Hove and offers some of the best Chinese cuisine in he city. The menu consists of lots of traditional dishes like crispy duck and sweet and sour, they also have some lesser known dishes like spare ribs in orange sauce. They do takeaway but unfortunately its collection only. Its a great place for families ad couples alike but call head for groups as seating is limited and they get busy!
