I discovered this place via a Groupon promotion and ate lunch here with my partner. We both had the Momo Special allowing us to sample three different Dumpling fillings which we had with our choice of Udon Noodles along with Green tea all of which we both enjoyed. It’s a very small space and not really set up as a restaurant. But if you want Dumplings and noodles at a more reasonable price then this place for yourself or with a couple of mates is a must or just takeaway!

Whilst the décor is a bit hyper-stylish they sure know how to cook a dumpling. If you are shopping in the North Lane and fancy a light lunch then this is the place to go. Tasty tasty tasty Only do bear in mind the dumplings are cooked fresh so you may have to wait

Overpriced, flavorless dumplings. Also the owner is a bit mean. I was attacked through my email for writing a bad review.

Nice little Asian Dumplings café. Variety of different fillings available. Small place but beautifully styled with AstroTurf carpet on walls and floor. A great addition to Brighton’s street food culture.

I feel bad giving an independent business 2 stars. Especially one selling dumplings. But my visit to Mo: Mo was seriously disappointing. Firstly the dumplings are totally soggy to the point of falling apart and taste like pre-frozen ones. For £4.70 for a mixed plate of 6(Mo:Mo Special) this isn’t a great deal. Adding a noodle dish for £1 seems like good value(choose from DanDan Udon Noodles or Miso Udon Noodle Soup) but the DanDan Udon were nothing like DanDan noodles and the Miso Noodle Soup was literally udon noodles in a bowl of instant miso, also in Brighton £5.70 for a meal isn’t actually that brilliant. For a pound more you can eat well in Mr Noodle, Pompoko or(if you have to, the one here is actually pretty good) Wagamama. Also, the guy working here when we went was really unprofessional, when we mentioned how the bar may do well at a festival, he began telling us how he keeps trying to get the manager to put the prices up and that he thinks they’re selling for too cheap. Ending on a good note… The décor has been done really well and it looks great!

Situated at the top end of Kensington Gardens Momo is a cute dumpling bar where you will have your lunch cravings satisfied without feeling bloated. Very reasonably priced for delicious handmade dumplings that are served on a tasty salad or noodles. They also serve soup and noodles as well as beverages.
