Ich war hier schon mehrere Male, meistens unter der Woche. Das Lokal ist immer gut besucht, trotzdem bekamen wir immer einen Platz.
Bis 2013 bekam man hier noch traditionelle (meist spanische) Gerichte serviert (die Paella war lecker!!), jetzt hat man im Wesentlichen auf Tapas umgestellt. das läuft hier jetzt ähnlich ab, wie im Okinii in Düsseldorf: Man kann 4 x bestellen und kann pro Bestellung 2 Tapas bestellen. Das ganze innerhalb von 2 Stunden.
Die Preise sind für die Niederlande normal, also etwas höher als in Deutschland.
Die Bedienung ist freundlich und erklärt auch gerne, wie das Bestellen abläuft. Die Speisen waren gewohnt lecker.

Karmeliet was the first stop on our busy — explore Haarlem for a day tour. We started in Karmeliet with tea and coffee on early Saturday morning. As per pre-​arranged plan for a day we could order coffee and tea together with an apple cake.
I cannot really comment on the quality of the tapas or other food, only the cake. The cake was ok, however I missed a big spoon of whipped cream on the side, which arrived little bit later and to our surprise it did arrive on one plate for 7 of us to share.
I can imagine that you want to make life easier for yourself and dump all cream on one plate, but this is not how it should be done. We also didn’t get the napkins and had to ask for them. The evening menu looked inviting and maybe it is worth a try. my apple cake I will eat elsewhere.
