I went to Bij Tholen last week with a bunch of colleagues during the restaurant week.
The ambience was gezellig. Since we were a sizeable group, we were given a large rustic table in the middle of the room.
The restaurant week menu was a four course dinner. The tussengerecht (paprikasoep) was exceptional and my favourite of the four courses. Another special mention is for the crème brûlée. It was by far the best crème brûlée i have ever had.
The service was attentive and friendly.
All in all, brilliant experience and highly recommended. I will definitely be going back for the paprikasoep and crème brûlée!

On your way from the station to Haarlem centrum a very nice and friendly place with very good wines, good food (not exactly cheap though) of a very good quality.
Warm and friendly staff! A wonderful place to meet and chat with friends.
