Super nice place for brunch, my personal favorite are Eggs Benedict, I always come back for them.
Service is good, cozy atmosphere and not too expensive!

great for breakfast, mu friend was very happy with warm gluten free bread. classy interior, local, good for serious talks. seating outside by the water — but better in the evening — heading west, so don’t expect much (any) sun until middag!

It was the worse experience in Amsterdam! We was waiting 90minutes for food and when it finally came it was really bad! So for me never more! I am sorry

Nicely decorated, cozy restaurant by Singel. They have tables outside by the canal. Unfortunately the only menu they have was in Dutch. But the waitress was kind enough to explain main courses in English. Little slow but friendly service. The steak I had was very good –tender and juicy-.
I think it is a good choice for dinner if you are around.

As a group of three just returning from a month in The Netherlands and Italy, Wannemakers was one of our favorite places. We serendipitously ended up there 4 times during our visit to Amsterdam. Great location, on the canal, great style, interior, exterior and food, delicious, accommodating staff. Great service… we highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. We had drinks several times and service was very accommodating to our specific requests. We will return.

Beautiful food and gorgeous wines, but the slowest service humanly possible.
We have been here for dinner 2 or 3 times and the wait was the same each evening. We were told there was only one person working in the kitchen, which might explain the hour between ordering and receiving food. Lovely food and drink if you have the patience.
