We went for breakfast. Cute little café. Good food. Hanging out for awhile was nice. Delicious fresh juices

Good lunch place with interesting sandwiches, and nice drinks. But I keep coming back because of the relaxed atmosphere. This is a place where you can sit, read the news, and people watch over a long lunch.

When I’m in other countries, I walk around for hours… like 6 — 7 hours, straight. So I need sustenance and coffee, as soon as I step out the door. In Amsterdam, cafes on bridges, are aplenty… so I try to hit up as many as I can. This place was perfect. The waitress was holy hot, tall and blonde. nuff said. The croissant was fluffy and buttery. The patrons were beautiful(including me). The coffee was strong and deeelish. The views of the canal and the cathedral were on-point.

Amazing fresh juices– orange, apple, carrot, ginger. Pumpkin, feta, prosciutto sandwich was very yummy. Good view of a canal.

Mostly standard café fare, but great feel and people watching. The goat cheese and beet sandwich was worth going back for.

We stopped in here by chance today, peeking at the menu as we walked past. It caught our attention because the offerings weren’t what you would expect of what(from the outside) would appear to be more of a tourist spot. Both the sandwiches that we had were really far better than we would have expected for the price and location. I had the ham, brie and caramelized onion and my girlfriend had the turkey and jalapeño panini; both were really great. The salad and sandwich selection was interesting enough that it had us plotting out when we could eat there again before we’d even finished our meal. I think it’s fair to say that after a month of exploring it was probably the best sandwich i’ve had in Amsterdam. We’ll be back again.

I was sightseeing alone for one day and found myself at this café. It was a good location(a great view of the reefer coffeehouse) and a perfect place and time for me to stop. I had a beer that was recommended by the server — Grolsch Weizen. It was out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed the beer. I also ordered a tomato mozzarella pesto on ciabatta. It was all the right ingredients and they were tasty but it was nothing to write home or note here. I often wonder if you took a place out of its tourist-y location, if it would work anywhere else — this was how I felt about this place.
