This is Hollands idea of Mexican food, not mine. We tried several dishes and the best were the fajitas. Still not typical fajitas. Margaritas were strong so I had three.

I was torn, a 3.5 would suit this place perfectly. Lets go four though, as the other reviews give a bad impression and this wasn’t our experience at all. Our waitress despite speaking no English was lovely, attentive and through hand gestures and pointing we made it through smoothly. There was a good selection on offer to meet everyone’s preferences. We had the nachos and I hate to admit the fries with mayo. A Netherlands favourite, we had to try before we left. The nachos were as you would expect, but with what tasted like a home made guacamole. Both dishes were empty, so no complaints there. For our mains we had the chicken burrito, beef tacos and vegetable enchiladas. They were presented well with rice, beans, and a fresh crisp salad. My chicken burrito had a wonderful amount of chicken, yet to be matched here in the uk. The menu advises the dishes won’t be spicy, but you can request they pump up the heat if that’s your preference. People near by had the ribs and steak, they looked amazing. Overall would I say it was authentic Mexican, probably not, but they gave it a good go.

Where do I start? How about with the surly waiter who didn’t even know what pinto beans were? The people next to me were not happy with their food. I had the rib eye and decided to skip the phoney«Mexican» food. Long story short, this place is anything but mexican, it’s a steak house if anything.
