This place is located in the Conservatorium Hotel, a beautiful old Music Conservatorium that has been renovated. It is a bit fancy, and a bit pricey, but it a beautiful space and you are well taken care of. The food had big memorable hits — like the miso eggplant, the pickled veggie amuse bouche, the steaks, and the desserts — as well as some misses. I’m allergic to shellfish, so I didn’t get to taste a lot of the things that are probably the best things on the menu. Nice décor, nice selection, and ambiance for a splurge dinner. I agree with Ducontra that the music is a bit strange for the setting.

Awesome food. Not a bad bite. The music could have been less «smoothe» but the food was solid. The restaurant design was really well done. Pleasant atmosphere and high epic ceilings. The service was very good, I felt very well cared for. Try the hamachi tartar specialty.
