Pompadour

A friend brought me desserts from Pompadour and they were sooooo good. Really delicious. I’ve been avoiding going in lest I buy one of everything and spend the weekend in a dessert coma. Yummy!!!

One of my favorite fancy bakery/​dessert/​lunch places. Delicious little fanciers and madelines.
One location provides lunch and the fancier one provides tea time. Both worth a visit.

This place was great. First of all, they have an amazing display of handmade chocolates and fancy desserts at the front of the café that you have to walk past to get to your table. I was trying to avoid sugar and bread, so I had to sprint past that part, but I was happy to find that they had at least 3 – 4 different things on the menu that were right up my alley.
I had a delicious ham salad and my friend had a bacon and fig sandwich (nom!). The red wine was cheaper than a pot of tea, so I know they have their priorities straight here. The service was great, and even though the tables are kind of close together, the space still felt very open yet private at the same time. After my wedding I’ll definitely be coming back to taste all their yummy treats in the front. :)

Looking for something sweet in the middle of 9^th street? We stumbled up on this small pastry and chocolate shop. It’s a lovely dessert place that serves plenty of sweets to sooth one taste-​buds. The Pompadour is an ideal place for lovers of desserts. You will be in awe over their beautiful and fabulous selection of handmade desserts. What sets this bakery apart from other places is that they don’t use any process ingredients. Instead they make every thing from scratch– which means they make everything with natural ingredients. I thought this place was very exquisite and adorable. I plan on coming back for more tea time and desserts with the girls. I definitely plan on visiting this place again and again…
