This place looked so promising — a charming hole in the wall with staff of old middle eastern gentlemen that looked like they would deliver. Boy was I wrong.
The food was so loveless and uninspired I hardly cleared my plate. The shawarma was dry (certainly kept warm for a long time already before I ordered it), the salad was utterly boring and the fries were mediocre. I’m not coming back.

Late night shaorma was disgusting, the meat was dry, the bread was old, and hardly any salad in it. Better go hungry than eat this…

After a fairly lengthy sightseeing of a Rick Steeve’s based walking tour of Amsterdam, and looking for a restaurant, we came across this place and went for lamb sharoma for EUR 7.50 each. The guy at the restaurant suggested adding Tzatziki sauce, it was so tasty and satisfying to my taste buds with my cheeks smeared with the sauce and I was so happy at the moment. No telephone. Open til 3 AM, later til 5 AM on the weekends. Cash only.
