LOS Amigos Argentinian Grill

Not very impressed. We got tapas — chips with guacamole, patatas with alioli, shrimp, Spanish tortilla, empanadas. The tortilla was incredibly dry with no flavor; patatas also dry and the alioli was not good; the chips that came with the guacamole were like Doritos. All portions were very small. I also ordered a cappuccino — meh. The servers were sweethearts, but I wouldn’t return for the food.

Die Mission war: möglichst schnell Steak bzw. Fleisch in der Nähe unseres Hotels zu essen. Wir hatten einen anstrengenden Messetag und alle nichts gegessen. Wir kennen Amsterdam gut und auch die Restaurants in der Reguliersdwarstraat. Im Los Amigos kann man ganz gut Fleisch essen.
Es ist erwartungsgemäß etwas teurer ohne aber ein tolles Restaurant zu sein. der Service ist schnell und freundlich. Alles in allem: gute Mittelklasse. Vom Rumpsteak bis zum Filet war bei uns fünfen alles vertreten. Die Beilagen kommen über convenience food nicht hinaus (Zwiebelringe, Bratkartoffeln, Grilltomaten usw.) und werden extra berechnet.
Für unseren Zweck (dringende Nahrungsaufnahme in Form von Fleisch) war es okay nichts für Feinschmecker.

This restaurant offers lots of outdoor seating and very accommodating staff. If you are a meat lover this is your place, Argentinians sure know how to cook a steak! I ordered a small fillet Mignon and asked for rare to med-rare…I like my steak cold on the inside and bleeding ;-) The meat was tasty, but the quality of the cut was not as good as I had hoped.
Note worthy side dish: sauteed mushrooms that are loaded with garlic, yum! Grilled chorizo is also a must try.
If you can’t imagine eating a full steak, opt for a mixed grill and share with a friend. It offers some sausage, and 3 different cuts of steak along with grilled corn.
Lots of very decent options on the wine list as well.

Went to this place and they had the BEST SANGRIA! All the food was so yummy!
