This is a brand new place — I went in here yesterday and it has been open only for 8 days. Given how new this place is — we were very impressed with the service, the food and the ambience. So, lets break it down bit by bit — Food — Absolutely delicious. We tried the pork croquettes while we were waiting at the bar with some champagne. We tried the set menu for the meal which was absolutely wonderful — very creative french food with beef tongue, beef brain, some fish, some veal, followed by great dessert and paired with some great wine. All the dishes were good but the red mullet was a stand out — absolutely stunning piece of well cooked fish with crispy skin! Service — very prompt and friendly. Ambience — I found the place very cozy with dim lighting and open kitchen. We got in a little early and were waiting by the bar so we got to chat with the chef and a little bit of history of the place. They have a winning team for the place — they are all from Toscanini & Bordewijk so our expectations were high and they were all met and then some.
