We stumbled upon this gem by coincidence walking the streets of Amsterdam, and it’s a great find. The atmosphere and décor and so warm and inviting, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the coffee and croissant were delicious!

Great lunch spot! I discovered them via their Instagram while planning my trip to Amsterdam. The presentation of their food sold me so we gave it a go. We ordered the roast beef sandwich and carrot pumpkin soup. Both were fantastic choices and full of flavor. The soup came with a small piece of bread and yogurt, sadly not quite enough bread. The soup was more pumpkin than carrot but I loved it. The roast beef sandwich had a poached egg on top but it was more of a hard boiled egg because the yolk was cooked solid. The service was quite slow and we had to ask for beverages more than once before they were brought to the table. A cute spot for an easy going lunch.

One of my favorite spots for meeting up. Great ambiance and a variety of drinks and things to eat. Friendly staff. Been there 3 to 4 times since I discovered Ree7 and no disappointment whatsoever and all cheers.

They absolutely do not care about their customers. It is only the looks that matters for them as they kept us waiting for 15 minutes(the place was almost empty) while they were busy with their Instagram marketing photos. Several times we had eye contact with two of the waitresses to remind them we are here and waiting to order; but they did not even showed the courtesy of telling us they will come in a minute or so.

Very cute spot for brunch, food was simple but everything was fresh and delicious. Went for breakfast so the options were limited but would return to try out the lunch fare which seemed a little more unique. Try to get a seat above/below the main level which sees a lot of traffic…

I absolutely love this place. Everything they make is delicious and prices are very good for the food. I would definitely recommend to order the burger, it is the best! I just wish this place was open longer.

Loved it! Great spot for coffee and watching people go by through the window. Excellent apple pie, and I don’t normally like pie — this one wasn’t too sweet and wasn’t a soggy mess. Friendly service. Cash only!

About two months ago my boyfriend and I just left the church where we are getting married in December when we ran into Ree 7. We decided to drink a coffee and I actually fell in love with the place! There’s is a lot of light, they serve good coffee and there’s a good atmosphere. We decided to ask the phone number of the owner to ask for a quote to see if we could organize a small drink over there after our wedding ceremony in December. After all it is located at only 200 m from the church and it’s a very lovely place. I talked to the owner on the phone and she reacted very enthusiastic when I asked her if we could organize a little celebration with all of our family and friends to celebrate our wedding. She told me that one of her staffmembers would contact us and send us a quote. After 1,5 week we still didn’t hear anything so I decided to call her to make sure I gave her the right e-mail address etc. she confirmed or information and told us that we soon would receive the quote. So, again we waited for two weeks… But no quote or any response at all. In total I called 3 times and send 3 e-mails(in about 2 months of time) kindly questioning if she could let us know at least something… Unfortunately she just kept making excuses and trying to convince us that they would love to have us etc etc but they never reacted or send us a quote with an offer. We’re really disappointed. If they’re not interested in organizing drinks or small celebrations she just could have told us. Not reacting at all is just rude and typical for«fancy coffee bars» in Amsterdam: arrogant. We’re not going here anymore and not recommending this place to others. Imagine that they ARE going to organize your drink/baby shower/etc and you think everything is organized and suddenly you never hear from them again…

I had the breakfast menu and I was not impressed at all. My scrambled eggs were really dry, like cardboard dry, and had raw pieces of onion in them. Not appetizing at all. The bread was just a regular piece of white bread, nothing interesting about it. The butter was far too little and very cold so it was almost impossible to spread, and the«belgian cheese» was one(1) slice of cheese, like the pre-sliced one you get in a plastic package. The best thing about the breakfast was the cookie I got with my coffee. My friends ordered sandwiches which looked really good so I was even more disappointed about my breakfast when I saw that. With such different standard on different meals on the menu I would not recommend going here, but if you do, avoid the breakfast and order a sandwich.

Nice new place, I liked the interior. Food was ok, nothing special but not bad. Looking forward to trying the delicious looking apple pie next time. Very friendly staff!
