A lot of barbers shops have sprout all over town over the last years, triggered partly, by I would dare to say the very first one Schorem in Rotterdam. Haarbarbar is the Amsterdam version of them. They follow the same principles, only men allowed in, and they offer similar haircuts and trims in a very elaborate and studied environment. I happen to love it. I like the customer attention, the manly chatter and the fact that they take their time. The is no rush. They do not take reservations, only walk ins, so waiting time could vary from none to over 1 hour over the weekends. If you are looking at splashing some cash, haircuts here are not cheap…, and to try something different that your usual hair stylist this is your place
