Als Designfreak gucke ich natürlich immer auch, was es so tolles in meinem Urlaubsort gibt. Dabei bin ich auf den Conceptstore Friday Next gestoßen.
Hier gibt es nicht nur viel Schönes zu entdecken und natürlich zu kaufen (Möbel, Schmuck, Taschen, Bilder und Schnickschnack für ein tolles Zuhause). Man kann auch ein gemütliches und leckeres Café– & Kuchen-​Päuschen einlegen.
Der Store ist schön und sehr offen gestaltet. Das Café verschmilzt sozusagen mit dem Laden. Das Personal sehr nett und entspannt. Wir haben uns hier super wohl gefühlt und auch ein kleines außergewöhnliches Andenken gekauft.

Fantastic design shop and café. They have really nice (and expensive) furniture and lighting, but also more affordable jewelry, kitchen stuff and accessories.
Cake and coffee (or tea in my case). They had some delicious cakes (carrot, cheesecake, apple pie and a spelt with forest fruit). I tried them all except the carrot. Liked them all. They offer a en extension selection of coffee and tea. Although, to be fair, the fresh mint was basically mint in hot water. I asked for green tea to be added, because it’s just ridiculous for that price.
And if you’re in to design furniture you can have a look at their shop. This coffee house is close enough by Leidse plein to walk there. Definitely a spot I would take visitors too to cool down after a day in the city if we are in the neighbourhood, but to travel across Amsterdam especially for this.
