Service, ambience, food… Everything was top class! We tried flammkuchen, bruschetta and crispy pastry. They were all fantastilicous! For desert we got cheesecake and tiramisu. I definitely recommend both. We are planning for another visit soon to taste the rest of the menu…

An absolutely wonderful meal. One of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten at. Food was beautifully prepared and wonderful. I highly recommend.

I took the family here after two full days walking and biking the city. The food is euro but very familiar. Everything we ordered was great. I have two teens and even they were smiling and ever so happy with the many dishes we sampled. A bonus was the nicest waitress we met while in Amsterdam.

We loved this restaurant, the vibe was as excellent as the food. We enjoyed this place so much we returned for our last night in Amsterdam, surprisingly the staff recognised us instantly and were very friendly. The waitress described their food serving style«like tapas but more high class». So with that frame of mind we ordered many dishes to share. We thought they’d be small servings. but they’re not, so prepare your appetite. It was the beginning of dinner when we showed up but completely busy and full by the time we left. The menu is laid out as a couple pages of dishes rather than the traditional entrée, main and dessert. Which is fine with us as we like the food sharing style. We ordered bruschetta, two different flammkuchen, tagliata pasta, Flammkuchen lasagna, ravioli, truffle spaghetti, cheesecake and lime tart for our dishes(over both visits). Everything was delicious, edible and perfect portions. You don’t want overly large portions especially if you order multiple dishes and these were just right. The parmaham bruschetta and parmaham flammkuchen were the highlights. If only we had restaurants back home that made them like this! Although we did notice this restaurant likes to lathered on the baby rocket on all their dishes, there even a couple sprigs on the cheesecake. We found it amazingly great value for quality and price. The only issues were we ordered the mushrooms flammkuchen but they gave us the bacon one but we didn’t bother telling them as we all know the golden rule about complaining in restaurants! And they ran out of coca cola light after 2 bottles on the first night and ran out completely on the second visit. Honestly don’t think they ran out, they just don’t normally stock soft drinks. Their drink menu was wine based and very extensive, there was a separate many paged menu for wine and I saw there were great choices from around the globe. At least 90% of the diners were drinking wine, we were probably the outliers. The dining was intimate and candle lit, lots of couples tables and only sparse group tables. Like most establishments here, they had a cloakroom for our coats. Very close of tram station, right in the Leidseplein area. If we were local we’d frequent here. Recommended!
