Fabulous restaurant… friendly staff and would recommend the parmigiana and risotto!

I arrived late near closing for a dessert worth waiting for. The tiramisu was large, flavorful and each bite was an absolute delight to eat. Along with that I had the scroppino which they make right at your table. I’ve had none better. It was pricey but it was well worth it. Honestly, it was an outstanding dessert. The absolute best I’ve ever had. The service was relaxed but friendly, inviting and good. They’re also dog friendly.

Had a disappointing experience here this evening while visiting Amsterdam with my husband. We wanted Italian and our concierge recommended this to us. Service was way off the mark once we ordered: 30 minutes for our shared salad to arrive which was good, and the waiter cracked a joke about it, and then another half hour for dinner. I asked for lobster and pasta spicy and there was barely any flavor at all, let alone spice. My husband ordered tagliatelle with a ragu sauce and it was bland as well. They were inattentive and the waiter was just hanging out at the bar with someone and the restaurant was not even busy, so there was no excuse for the lack of attention, Big disappointment overall.

Very upscale restaurant serving genuine Italian food which is not always the case in Amsterdam where Italian flags and names are often put on eateries owned by other nationals. A bit pricey but absolute top quality and a speedy and friendly service. I recommend the raviolis and the fish dishes which come with a side of fresh spinach.
