Very cool concept. It is completely dark in the restaurant and you are led in by a blind waiter. We got the surprise menu with alcohol pairings. Food was great. The starter was a chicken but in the dark, we thought it was some kind of fish tartare. Main course was lamb. After a while of guessing where the food is on your plate, you start eating with your hands. Pretty hilarious experience.

What a great experience this was. We went in a group of 4 and staring from seating at a table I had no idea of my body in space. The food was good and plaint full, many times I had no idea what I was eating. And could not use a fork at all, so hands it was. Fun experience with friends.

Interesting experience, let down by(especially) the food and extraordinarily slow service. I feel like if your literature is going to make references to taking you on a «journey of taste,» then the food should at least be competent, right? This wasn’t the case last night, where the main dish — some sort of plate with lamb, pork, a whole fennel bulb, and«risotto» which tasted just like dry, undercooked rice — arrived at my place lukewarm. Awesome. I love food that’s cold. There was an amuse bouche that felt like maybe it came out of an Albert Heijn container(cream cheese with chicken and cucumbers?), then a salad, which had a big ol’ supermarket slice of ham on top, a fishy smell, and a raspberry vinaigrette that was much too sweet. The last course, a dessert, felt really quite gimmicky. Tiramisu, some sort of fruit sorbet, coconut cream, a small chunk of pineapple, and«exploding sugar»(Pop Rocks, really) — this was the largest plate of the meal. Add to that a slightly uncomfortable interior temperature and an awkward upselling of beers before we were served a 3-course beer tasting menu means I don’t think I’ll be back, not even if the company’s paying for it, like last night.

What an experience! I came here for a Vday special and had never dined in the dark before. They tell you to guess at the end what you ate and I was surprised that we guessed almost correctly! In the beginning, it was very confusing… I couldn’t tell how big or small the room was, only that I was at a small table for 2 and that the waiters walked behind me but not in front of me. It was loud, but you couldn’t see anybody. The food itself was tasty and different since you can’t see anything! It’s amazing though how quickly you adjust to the situation and figure out how to eat somewhat properly :) It was very fun and I’d go again!
