The ladies were so nice from the moment we walked in. They did not have gluten free bread BUT they said if I brought the bread they would make me the sandwich. That’s exactly what I did. It was so nice! They made me two sandwiches for the price of their one sandwich. I had roasted egg plant, basil, provolone cheese. We also got free bags of chips :-) Positive experience ! Great to-go sandwiches.

If I could eat here every day I would. I wish I could try every sandwich on the menu. I tried the smoked salmon, the carpaccio, and prosciutto. They were all amazing. The bread is what makes a great sandwich and I really loved the olive ciabatta. Cora is a really nice establishment, all of the ingredients organized in the cooler looks very nice and clean. I wish we had a place like this in the United States.

I found this take-away sandwich place on my first visit to Amsterdam last year and have been a faithful customer ever since. It’s one of the only times I’ll eat bread. In fact, the only time I’ll eat a sandwich is if it’s from Cora’s, as they make the tastiest sandwiches and use the most wonderful bread. All of their ingredients are fresh and delicious. Their employees are always so friendly too. One December evening after Christmas shopping, I popped in, not realizing they were just closing, and the lady who always waits on me was there and offered to make my sandwich anyway. I couldn’t believe it! I told her she didn’t have to, but she went ahead anyway and made my tummy very happy.

Hardly your typical Dutch sandwich place. this hot spot is pretty spectacular! They have lots of little extra add-ons(chips, nuts, dried fruits, wines, coffee, fresh juices) but it’s their sandwiches– they’re the absolute highlight! There 22 different broodjes on the menu with 4 different kinds of bread you can get it on. I can recommend the roast beef(No. 21!!) on the ciabatta with olives, and if you get extra grilled courgettes as well(for € 1.20), it’s the best broodje on the menu! Something to note is that all the sandwiches are made to order and they’re fairly quick about it too. Also to note, the ladies behind the counter are super friendly too! Worth it if you’re in a rush and even more worth it if you have the time to spare to enjoy the view!
