As my new local bar, one I could walk /​skip /​crawl to, this little spot isn’t bad at all. I actually found them through a banner ad on facebook so sometimes those stupid things do work!
They were advertising a promo of: a full bottle of gin with mixers, ice, lemon and lime for a grand total of € 60, which when you think about it, is a bit of a banging bargain. Come with a big group and you’re going to be the hero!
But of course. this deal only works Monday to Thursday. Come during the weekend and this will set you back € 80 but really. it’s not too bad considering you’re 1. At a bar with clean glassware, 2. You get service as you need and 3. The people working here are rather nice and with all those things combined, you can squeeze out 15 odd drinks. so again, it’s not bad indeed! And of course, I would only recommend you do this if you’re coming in a big group!!!
We’ve also had a cheeky bitterballen here and they came out piping hot with some spicy mustard on the side (as you’ll see from my photo) and it was as good as you’ll get for bar fare!
Either way, it’s in a great local spot and you can usually find a spot to sit or lean, so if they added a few things to their cocktail menu, I’d be back here more often!
