We walked in 10 min til 10PM and they gracious let us sit and have dinner! The service was awesome, the vibe in the restaurant was very laid back but stylish and the food was delicious! I ordered the #3 Spaghetti alle cozze(mussels & spaghetti in white wine) & my husband ordered the Pipe rigate con salsiccia classica(sausage & pasta). Both meals were absolutely delicious and with 2 glasses of wine, it only cost 36euros! Our Airbnb host recommended the restaurant as one of the best in our neighborhood and I have to agree! It was delicious and something different than the normal pub.

Went here one night pretty late with the family, the pasta was pretty good, I got pasta with mussels, and there was plenty of them, in a white wine sauce. The place is set up like a big-houses dining room, with one huge table that everyone sits around at. Or you can sit at one of the tables outside but they were all full when we showed up since it was pretty late. Overall pretty good pasta and cool set up.

We ate here last night, the food and service were fabulous. The pasta is the real thing, simple and beautiful. The farm table seating was very cool. Maybe our favorite meal in Amsterdam.

I loved the vibe in here. Finally a restaurant with plenty of Gluten-free dishes to choose from. Tonight I enjoyed a wondeful gluten-free pasta mussel dish for dinner. I enjoyed everything about the place, concept is simple, but pleasantly nice. FYI – to parents who bring their kids in here, please try to manage your children. Keep in mind the space is tight in there, so please leave the big toys off the table when people are eating, since we are sharing one big table. However, I look forward to returning back here again soon with Dutchman. I can’t believe I just found out they serve gluten free pasta dishes. I would like to thank for the gluten-free Amsterdam guide. The Service at Spaghetteria was excellent, guys keep up the good work!

Very good neighborhood place. Large shared table is primary space. Servers are young, friendly and on top of things. I had the mushroom pasta… very good. I may go back again in a few minutes. :)

I totally get Sophia Loren. I mean, pasta is pretty damn awesome. And while it can be quite simple, it is not always easy to make(at least if the result is supposed to be amazing). So, let me rephrase — I have had an astounding amount of bad pasta in restaurants. Not here though. The first time I had the pleasure of trying Spaghettaria’s pasta was in June 2014. Ever since, I have been a fan. These days, I frequent the Van Wou branch more often than the one in Oud-West, but the experience remains unblemished. I love the fact that they have only a couple of dishes. That way they can focus on quality. Usually, I get to the place with the intention of ordering something new. However, not ordering the very simple and absolutely delicious Arrabiata is extremely hard. I think that simplicity shows the master. And theirs is so good! Sometimes, I am successful in ordering something else, however, and I can with full confidence recommend the pasta with sausage. In sum: All the plates are very filling. The pasta is fresh, and everything I tried was delicious. The wine-card is very simple(read: do not expect one), but the choices they made fit very well with all the pasta dishes they serve. So, really, nothing to complain about there. They serve one desert. Yes, you have guessed it, it’s tiramisu. I think it is allright. I am quite picky though, so I think you should pass your own judgement on it. Objectively, I would say it is nice. Go for the pasta, though, not for the tiramisu. But, oh my — the Pasta!

Very solid pasta. Great space and dining concept, cost effective as well. Wasn’t the most amazing, but was very worth the no-fuss no-frills approach for the price.

Don’t be intimidated by the wait here. It’s worth it and it usually goes by fast if you’re here for an early dinner around 6−7ish. Tried a couple dishes here, but the Calm Spaghetti is my fave. It’s a little spicy, but noodles are al dente and the clams are super flavorful. The bread that comes with the dishes are good too. I usually save it for the end so I can soak it up in the sauce. Because, the sauce is the boss. ;)

This quaint little restaurant has amazing food and a homey atmosphere. There is one large farmhouse table in the middle of the room where most people sit. They also have bar seating against the windows so you can people watch as you eat. This place would be great for a big family that wanted to sit at the large table, or for a date if you sit at the bar seating by the windows. I ordered the Arrabiata and it was perfectly spicy. I even added some spice with the chili oil on the table because I told the server not to make it too spicey. I’m kind of a wimp when it comes to spice. My hubby ordered the Creste di gallo con salsiccia Toscana classica. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The Creste had huge chunks of mushroom, sausage and onion. The tomato sauce tasted so fresh and I loved the olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table to dip our bread in. This was the only place in Amsterdam that had water already on the table. That is such a welcome treat for thirsty Americans!

Good place to eat a real al dente italian pasta! They have a huge table for big groups or to socialize with people. They also have italian music playing :) Even the cheapest dish is delicious!

Great place for a quick bite to eat or a date, it does get quite busy/crowded but the atmosphere is great so worth a visit if you want some amazing pasta.

Delicious al dente spaghetti and arugula salad. Cool ambiance with lots of Italian magazines. Most people dine around one large table. :-) Really fun experience. Vegans are always welcome.

Absolutely fantastic(been here twice in a month so clearly loved it!) The place is very crowded Thursdays to Saturdays, so go early. Even otherwise, it’s worth the wait. Seating outside is pleasant. The menu is limited but changes frequently. The pastas have a home-made feel and are very reasonably priced. The tiramisu was outstanding. Special mention for the staff who is super friendly. No complaints about this place at all!

Ate here once. Wouldn’t eat here again. I didn’t enjoy how cramped the space was and I didn’t enjoy my dish enough to be bothered to return. At least I tried it.

Great atmosphere with affordable prices. Great to catch up with a friend on a weekday. The menu is not extensive, which makes every dish a daily special.

Easy, cheap & homemade pasta’s. No reservations possible but one can wait at the ‘bar’ to be seated. There are 5 pasta’s and 2 deserts on the menu, this is what keeps it easy. With prices ranging from 9 to 16? Euros for the pasta’s. The atmosphere is also great even though it was really busy(a good sign…). Def recommend this for an easy dinner!

The plus: the pastas are homemade. The con: Very ordinary… could use more flavor and creativity!

Don’t you feel like cooking today and would like to taste some delicious pasta? Than you definately should try out this place! This place is pretty popular and crowded. There are picknick tables outside. Inside there is a big table where you can eat next to other people if the other places are already full with people. The menu changes sometimes and there are about 8 different pasta to choose from for a good price around 12 euro’s!

Been here a few times since it opened, and enjoy the food very much! The penne with a little spice is a very nice flavor. A few drawbacks: it’s very small and popular, so it may be hard to find a place to sit. And if you don’t like sitting at one big table with other people, you may not enjoy this place. The service is a bit slow as well, and takes a while for food to come out, but it’s worth the wait.

YUM! Spaghetteria is a super cool place for a DELICIOUS bite to eat. The setting: outdoor bench tables or indoor«family style» seating(with a few window seats for those not into dining with strangers). Clean, comfortable and relaxed. The food: the chefs(um, all handsome Dutch men, by the way!) keep the menu fresh — changing the menu every week with a whole new 6 or 8 items to choose from(yep, that’s it!) based on the season and whatever the purchased that week. So, you know you’re getting fresh food with a creative touch. The wine: great selection — even their house selections are yummy. I’ve taken several visitors here and most have returned for a 2nd time eating while in town. Talented chefs — good wine — nice seating. Yeah…you should probably go there. Like, tonight. ;)
