This was one stop of our pub crawl down De Pijp(The Pipe) District in Amsterdam. The group of fellas that I was traveling with love a good hole in the wall bar and we decided to check this place out on a recommendation from a friend. The front of the bar was the bar itself with a larger area in the rear that had a pool table and a few dart boards. The jukebox was playing some Rolling Stones one moment and then Florence + The Machine the next, but that’s the kind of crowd that was present that night. This place was definitely a locals bar, but they were very welcoming to us. The bartender was an older, gruff lady, but she possessed a certain charm that we found delightful(she even gave me the wifi password). Don’t expect any microbrews at this place, but the beers are ridiculously cheap and ice cold. Just make sure you bring some money for the juke box.
