Cool store with lots of interesting/​cutesy home ware as well as some body products. It was a bit expensive but it was all expertly displayed. You couldn’t help but want everything even while you knew you didn’t REALLY want a plate with cartoon meat and potatoes on it.
I’d be more inclined to give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so expensive.

I remember the first Blond store in the Spuistraat: a teeny tiny shop/​studio ran by two talented young girls. That’s a long time ago and the girls are now young (very successful) women selling their fun art all over the place. And they still manage to keep the cuteness in their work. Want a unique gift for a birthday or wedding: bring a picture and they will create a super painting, tea pot, plate or whatever you like!
