Don’t be fooled — other than the acai bowl and juice and the pao de queijo, there is nothing Brazilian about this place! The sandwiches and breakfast options are 100% Dutch. And the food wasn’t great: the coffee came lukewarm, the soup was piping hot(too hot) but had no flavor and the bread was just okay-ish. That said, the pastrami sandwich was pretty good. Another reviewer noted they don’t take pin card but they were taking it when we were there.

How did I miss this place? My first impression was love at first sight. Some of my favorite Brazilian music was playing, the Acai bowel was generous and tasty, the people friendly, some nice outdoor seating, the wifi was good and the coffee was excellent. I also tried the warm casava/cheese roll… wonderful! My second visit confirmed my first impressions. It’s a great relaxed place. Unpretentious with a vibe that invites you to stay for while and relax. There are newspapers on a rack that you can read while you chill.

Wonderful place for a morning espresso when most other shops are still closed. Good wifi and friendly staff with outside seating.

Good atmosphere and good coffees. I have not found any other place where I can get a soy latte with Pão de Quejo! I have lunched at Brazuca several times, but in my opinion the above mentioned are better than their sandwiches. I might not have tried the right ones yet. and the coffee makes up for it.

A really good café if you want to relax and get some work done, they have decent WiFi and the staff are helpful. It’s worth knowing that you need to bring cash as they don’t take Pin/Card. But they have some amazing Brazilian cheese balls(Pão de Quejo) which are epic and go great with a coffee or hot chocolate. If you love your coffee consider the caffee Lungo, if you order a hot chocolate they serve it with milk foam and a chocolate cup that melts into the milk which is quite nice.

I think this café has just become my absolutely favourite working place in Amsterdam. They have one of the best coffees I have ever had a chance to drink(served also with HUGEFOAM of SOYA Milk :) Deserts, breakfast and other food are also delicious, mainly coming or inspired by Brazil. Staff could be faster, but since they have such lovely music & atmosphere, I forgive them ;) They don’t accept credit cards, so prepare some cash.

Casa Brazuca holds very dear parts of my heart. The day I moved here from Brooklyn and went for my first stroll, the husband took me here. I had a salmon sandwich that instantly became my favorite sandwich in this city. It still remains my favorite salmon sandwich years later. I had their sandwich immediately after I gave birth, too. Nostalgia aside, their food quality is extremely consistent. They are where I can also get a healthy dose of acai smoothies that jolt life into me. I really like the owner. Their focus is on coffee, but I’m not a coffee drinker. My husband is, however, and their roasting has actually made me enjoy the smell of coffee. The owner knows plenty about coffee and speaks passionately about it. I appreciate that.

I finally strolled up in here after four years for a hot cup of tea on the go. Place was super pack, it seam like a really nice cozy café to relax and chill out in on any given day. Come

Casa Brazuca is a cool Brazilian coffee spot in the Rijnstraat. I love to sit on their small terrace and watch the people walk by. They have good coffee/fresh juice and also tasty Brazillian PÃODEQUEIJO(little cheese bread to go with your coffee). They also serve sandwiches but I was not very impressed by them. Not bad, not great either. I really recommend their breakfast during hot summer days: AÇAÍNATIGELA. This is a very cold bowl of acai berry purée with guarana, banana and granola.

Casa Brazuca is one of my favourites in Amsterdam and I am certain to visit it every time I am here. They make terrific coffees(in the Brazilian style, so with a bit more oomph than you might be used to) and have a very nice sandwich, smoothie, and cake selection in a relaxed and informal atmosphere with lots of locals hanging out. Their outside seating area is small but adequate and a great place to watch the world go by. Prices are a tad on the high side, but that is justified by the quality of their goods and service. Free wifi: ask the wait staff for the code. The best place to work is the reading table: plenty of power points and the best wifi reception too.
