The waiter/​door guy was such a dick! He rushed us in and was basically yelling at us to order something. We actually came in here thinking it was a different place and were going to leave but he was hovering over us as we looked at the menu and kept asking «what are you going to order?» Then gives us the most expensive Coronas in Amsterdam and kept telling us we had to leave a tip. Terrible service and ridiculous prices, avoid at all costs.

Came in to check it out, the guy at the door rushed us to order. I asked for tap water and he comes out with 3 € water … And 5 € beers. Not worth it and he even asks for tips right after he lays the drinks down. Not recommended.

In Amsterdam’s Red Light District, you will get pushed into bars all over the place promising you great food and drinks. Big Shots is just a sports bar in the center of everything. Their drinks are fine but they do allow smoking inside the bar. It’s cramped and crowded but the service is quick. They don’t let you linger too much and relax. Once your drinks are done, they are pushing you to get another one or give up your seat. If you choose to partake in smoking inside the bar, this doesn’t work well.
I would normally give it 2 stars only, but allowing smoking and alcohol earned it an extra star.
