Absolutely charming little inn. Good presentation, clean and modern; this inn is in a mostly residential area so it is in a quiet neighborhood. The little bar has good beer and the coffee is excellent. The rooms are nice and clean, if a bit small, the beds are comfortable, however, the mattress is on a leather base which slides easily(if you are not careful you can wake up on the floor). The patio outside is a delight to use to have a coffee or a beer. The staff is friendly and helpful. TIP: If you have a car, the nearest parking lot is about a mile away. YOUMUSTTAKETHETRAM, the tram will validate your parking ticket so that the day will be 8 euros instead of 50 euros per day(We sadly didn’t know so i ended up paying 100 euros for 2 days since we walked our way back).

Stayed here for the night with my kids while on our visit to Amsterdam. The hotel is in a nice location, close to the #2 tram and a block from the #16 tram. Very convenient! The room was perfect for a night stay, especially for me and my kids! After a long day of walking around, The kids just wanted to crawl into bed which were very VERY comfortable and I wanted a nice hot shower! We all got what we wanted! I enjoyed their breakfast, for 9.50 euros it was ok. I would stay here again, the rooms were clean, yes small but perfect for a great night sleep! The staff, was also extremely helpful in answering our questions about places to eat close by.

First things first… I traveled to Amsterdam for the weekend with my sister and bro-in-law and we booked our stay here through about a month before going(not knowing it was the beginning of the high season) and this was one of the few places we could afford… Amsterdam is expensive! So, that said… the hotel was exactly and only what we needed — 2 beds and a bathroom… and nothing else would have fit! The bathroom was the size of a closet(completely standard in Europe), but clean. We had fresh towels and clean sheets. So… again…everything we needed and nothing more. They did offer breakfast in a cute breakfast room for an additional fee, but we opted out. The best thing about the hotel, other than the price(comparatively speaking), was the location. It was right next to a Tram #2 stop, which made it a quick trolley ride to the center of town, or a nice stroll back when finished site-seeing(the tram stops at 12:30 am). And since it was out of the city center, we slept like babies.
