Love this place. Came nearly daily for breakfast. Wish we’d hit it for dinner. Very inexpensive. Very yummy. Nicely prepared. Friendly staff who speak English. Several breakfast combos for around $ 100peso including drink. Lattes, Frapucinno, cappuccino also available.

Came here for breakfast. Excellent deal with coffee, fresh orange juice, fruit, and chilequiles for 70 pesos!!! Sauces were perfect and clearly homemade. I added an egg to it for barely an additional charge. Great spot!

Great place for breakfast(and the serve lunch too but I have only eaten breakfast here twice). I got the eggs Benedict both times. I love it! It is served over a sweet waffle which gives it a unique taste. All seating is outside so no a/c, but they do have individual fans for each table. Most of the ladies serving speak English too. The food does take a bit longer than usual so do not go if you are in a hurry. But while you’re waiting they will give you some toast with homemade blueberry jam. Delicious!

What a lovely and quaint eatery. The service was impeccable. My boyfriend had the huevos rancheros divorciados and they they were fantastic. I had the chicken enfrijoladas and had them topped with the spicy verde and roja sauces. The Americano and orange juice were spot on too! We will be back!

I don’t come as often as I like because a 15 minute walk in the heat feels like an eternity, but let me tell you, when I do come, I’m never disappointed. Café Orange is a small place, but it’s a comfortable place. Soft cushions upon which to lounge… and your own personal fan. Not to mention that the salsa roja is out of this world… I wouldn’t say it’s traditional Mexican by any means, but it’s just so damn good. You have to try it. And finally, one of my personal favorite things about the place is the music. Always a good mix and always chill. I love coming here to work.

Delicious! This cute café was just a block away from our apartment, so super convenient. No a/c but plenty of fans to keep you cool(er). Seems that try to cater to a wide variety — they had several breakfast deals, aimed at different visitors(Mexican, American, European, etc). Good coffee, delicious bread and salsa(complimentary), fantastic croissants, and the chilequiles were outstanding. Highly recommend!

After checking into our rented condo, we decided to explore the Little Italy neighborhood. Just a block away, we noticed Café Orange kind of tucked away between some residences. We were immediately greeted by a friendly young man and were given menus. It was around 2p and we noticed the breakfast menu. Unfortunately, breakfast was over but our waiter was able to make us lattes and cappuccinos. The coffee here is phenomenal. Full bodied and flavorful. We stopped in for coffee almost everyday during our vacation. Our waiter told us what was on the lunch menu and we decided to try the carrot soup and the cucumber mango salad. Oh my goodness! The carrot soup was creamy and very tasty. The salad was very different than what i am used to but so good. The romaine lettuce combined with a spicy creamy dressing coupled with cucumber, fresh mango, fresh jicama and spicy tortilla chips had an interesting flavor and kept my interest! The service was also top notch. The waitstaff was helpful when we needed assistance trying to locate lost luggage. We will definitely stop here again when we are in Playa del Carmen.

The food was fantastic, prices were beyond reasonable for fresh, made from scratch food. The pancakes were amazing!!! Chilaquiles were made differently than what my family was used to. Made with corn chips but was delicious. Local food beats the resort food hands down!

Café orange is lovely. We arrived early for breakfast and they quickly set us up a table anyways and brought us drinks. We waited for them to be ready to make breakfast and it was well worth it. I had the best chilequiles, their salsa is great. Also they make really big blended mochas and have great coffee. Great prices, and sweet cute waitresses.

My wife and I had lunch here today, and the food was quite good. The two of us each had the lunch specials(mine a steak and veggies shish kabob, hers a grilled chicken with a tasty peanut sauce) the dishes were approachable and tasty, and came coupled with a fresh salad appetizer, and rice milk dessert. We were very happy and walked out for about $ 11 total. The service is friendly and the open atmosphere is charming. Will be back(we are staying in an AirBnB next door).
