The worst service I have ever gotten on vacation bar none. The food is average at best. They can’t tell a difference between your appetizer or your dinner so you get it all at once. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks because the waiter did not bring them. Save yourselves the horrible experience and go anywhere else.

I was starving and in a hurry so I checked my expectations at the door. Even still it was a big disappointment. Had 4 beef tacos that were the blandest in memory, the tortillas flaccid, the salsa paltry accompanied by a whole two tablespoons of beans. Saw a couple doing the deliberation dance in front of the outdoor menu. If i could have gotten his attention I would have waived him off and considered my good deed done for the day.

It should get two stars, but it loses one because it was dishonest. The food is just tourist Mexican food slop. The waiter who wanted on was was a crook. And gave himself a 20% tip on my credit card. It was not the money as much as the principle. The food was as boring as it gets. Walk on by, don’t stop.

Watch out for the prices here. They are not transparent when you order margaritas without seeing a menu. They’ll decide which version to serve you and it won’t be the regular one.(And they’re US prices anyway.) And if you decide to include tip with your credit card, specify how much, otherwise they’ll charge you the high end, 15%, automatically. Shady.

Started strong with good margaritas and excellent guacamole, but then things fell apart a bit. We waited over an out for our food as all of the tables around us received their orders. Apparently something went wrong with our orders and our server seemed appropriately upset about it but never came to our table to explain what was going on. A simple check-in to let us know what was going on or someone checking to see if we needed another round of drinks would have been very much appreciated. All that being said, the food was quite good when we did receive it, and the wait staff was apologetic when it came out. If you are a patient person, this would be a strong four stars.

We should have known it would be bad with the poor chica dressed in «traditional» Mexican clothing. We sat down and ordered a few margaritas and glasses of water. We were told we couldn’t have glasses of water, only ice. My friend ordered don Julio Anejo tequila but was brought out TG. She asked for the price to buy a bottle and was told $ 223USD. it gets worse. We waited over 90 minutes for our food before being brought chips and salsa then ice cold food. Fajitas on a sizzling plate that didn’t sizzle. We asked them what they would do to make it right and were offered drinks. Smaller versions of what we ordered. They re-made the food by re heating it and overcooking it. Will never return. A tourist trap with poor service and management.

Lots of good juices; crazy fast service. It was hot as hell but they cant really do much about that when you’re outside. Most of the n was traditional Mexican fare but they’re used to Americans asking for eggs benidict.

This place was so good we are here twice! Group of four of us and we ordered a ton of food. They have a nice air conditioning room that’s small but if you request it you can sit in there free of charge. The guacamole is made right in front of you and is delicious. We ordered tacos pastor to share and it had beans pineapple and pork inside and it was to die for. The next day we came back and ordered the same thing and they probably had a different chef working because it was wasn’t the same but it was still great. I got green chile enchiladas and they were a 5⁄5. For whatever reason my boyfriend got a steak and he said it was just okay. I would stick strictly to Mexican food here and don’t order any of the American options that they have. The rest of us all ordered Mexican and loved our dishes. The flan was the best we’ve ever had. Great service as well!

A bit pricey but good food and good drinks. Great outdoor restaurant right on 5th where you can people watch and enjoy a nice leisurely meal. For sure try the queso fundido, the best! I had the whole fried fish which was great too. I also liked the Frida Kahlo décor. Can’t wait to return.

I’m going to keep this review short and sweet because there’s not much to say other than that I hated my breakfast. My continental scrambled eggs and hash browns were bland and had no flavor. The sausage was overcooked and wrinkly. The only good thing about my meal was the fruit plate. It’s my worst breakfast experience ever. I feel bad for giving two stars but I have to be honest.

The food was decent and they had some good specials. The staff is friendly. We started off with the margarita extreme special that included a coronarita with nachos. Don’t expect a big plate of nachos like you do in the US. The place is in a good location and they have a few vegetarian options.
