One of the better fish head noodle available in PJ. Located in damansara perdana, same row as Restaurant 8888 hawker store which is famous for the duck egg char kuey teow. The fish head soup is absolutely fantastic with a perfect ratio of evaporated milk added in. Will definitely be back to try out the other dishes.

One of the best fish head noodles I’ve had is here, Soon Soon Pan Mee & Fish Head! It’s located at Damansara Perdana, about 5 minutes drive away from The Curve. Expect this restaurant to be crowded during breakfast and lunch so you probably would wanna go there during odd hours if you don’t wanna stand waiting for tables. Must try is definitely the fish head noodles. You can opt for different types of fish such as Grouper fish head noodles, Pomfret fish noodles or even fish paste noodles — and your choice of having carnation milk in your soup or not. For those who aren’t fans of fish head noodles, you can always go for their Pan Mee which taste great too! Really bad part about this place is the parking, it’s really hard to find parking even if you wanted to double park. Taste: 8⁄10 Parking: 1⁄10(yes, it’s that bad. sometimes MBPJ even comes and tow for double parking) Ambiance: 6⁄10 Cleanliness: 6⁄10 Food Variety: 7⁄10 Business Hours: 7.00am — 5.00pm(Closed on Sundays)

As much as rice is a must have as an Asian, I have always been more of a noodle person. Coming into this place that is daily-packed during lunch hour, it’s obvious that people mostly come here for their excellent Fish Head Noodle Soup. If it wasn’t for health reasons, I absolutely love adding milk(evaporated) into my broth but you have the option to do without and the clear soup is just as tasty! Being someone whom recently ventured into healthier eating, here’s how I order my perfect bowl of noodles. I normally go for the thinner noodles because it absorbs the flavor of the soup better, I ask for fish paste which isn’t fried instead of the actual fish head, and I sometimes request for the additional of tofu, spinach and yam! Yes, they actually have a variety of vegetables and you can even go carb-less and just order a bowl of fiber and protein goodness! However, should it be your first time and you’re in the mood to indulge, try it with the fried fish and milk. If you’re not really a fish person, I have tried their dry/soup pan mee(with minced pork) and it may not be the best, but I think it’s worth the try. The dry pan mee goes superbly well with the belacan chilli. A guilt-free and ridiculously satisfying lunch for below RM10, Soon Soon Pan Mee & Fish Head Restaurant is without a doubt one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Damansara Perdana, and I recommend visiting anytime before 12pm or after 2pm because it is always packed in between and parking is a pain in the butt. And oh, they make a good glass of kopi ais too! Open Hours· 7:30 am — 5:00 pm
