A good place to chill out in Bangsar. Very nice décor. Despite the crowd, the staff were friendly and responsive. My friends commented that they have a nice list of wines to select from. However, the best part of Alexis is the cakes. The best cake? The Tiramisu! My friend would go as far as to call it «The Best Tiramisu in Town!»

Only two words — Berries Meringue! So yummy :). Other cakes also not bad, quite big portion too. And the food pretty good.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bangsar Village area. It has one of the best combinations between really nice ambience, good service and amazing food. Much like other nice restaurants in the area their portions are a bit small and pricey but delicious nonetheless. I recommend the funghi pizza, but the real thumbs up goes to their dessert menu. They have an amazing selection of cakes which unlike their food come in the very well served to portion. I’m not a huge fan of tiramisu but I’ve heard wonders about theirs. I definitely recommend this place for a first date or to hang out with friends. I Will be going back there soon.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Alexis bistro is their awesome Tiramisu! Well ok that’s just one of the things besides their fish & chips, mushroom soup and pavlova. Yes that is a weird combination, but it’s just some of my favourites. Alexis has a few outlets around klang valley. In bangsar itself there are 2, one along the streets of Telawi & the other is right here at Bangsar Shopping Centre. Located at the corner near Busaba, Alexis offers a cosy feel to your whole dining experience. Whether I end up having a coffee or a glass of wine, I tend to have the same experience. The settings of Alexis BSC with their dimmed yellow lights, decent space & seating arrangements complement the whole experience you get here. Moreover, they don’t exactly have a set menu for vegetarians but the staff are extremely courteous & will definitely cook up some options for you. Alexis isn’t exactly cheap, you could end up spending approximately rm 60++ per person for a main meal, a non-alcoholic drink & dessert. I guess that’s the price you have to pay to get comfort food in a comfortable place!

Amazing, amazing food. I came here once for a company dinner. It is on the higher end of things but the food was so good. We made a reservation beforehand for a table upstairs and were lucky enough to get one. When we arrived, it was quite packed. The staff were very pleasant and smiley and service was excellent. Catering to a large group is never easy as any waiter would tell you, but ours was exceptional in delivering efficiency and speed. Food ordering was easy as the menu is simple, kept short and sweet and easy to understand. I ended up choosing the chicken and mushroom risotto over salmon fillet and wasn’t disappointed. The rice was well cooked(not too wet) and the chicken pieces were succulent and juicy. Ambience is very clean, professional with a romantic touch to it(with the dim lights and soft background music) and we were lucky we got a table closer to the back of the restaurant where it was cosier. Noise level was minimal — it seemed like the business professionals who were dining there knew to keep the noise level to a minimum — I guess it’s something you’d kind of expect in a higher end restaurant. They had a separate bar upstairs too and we all ordered a round of shots after dinner. A great experience overall at Alexis, and will definitely recommend this place for a dinner gathering with friends or colleagues!

We come here for the Pavlova. Always for the Pavlova. Sometimes the Tiramisu. And now you know at least 2 reasons to frequent this place. Alexis has been around ever since I was a teenager, and I must say, I still like the food there even after all these years. The chicken rice there is always satisfying for the taste bud, and let’s not even mention the pasta which is always cooked to perfection. We have celebrated numerous birthdays here. This is partly due to the ambience and partly due to the food prices which don’t break the bank. Alexis delivers its fare consistently and I will definitely be coming here for the years to come.

Alexis is BSC is quite cool. I wouldn’t take it as my top favorite but it’s really cool for lunch or breakfast because it’s really super lit up; there is just so much light inside. I don’t see it as the right place to just have a glass of wine, I just think it’s too lit up for that I really prefer the Alexis in Jalan Telawi. I didn’t like the service so much and I just didn’t like the atmosphere but the food was so good but I didn’t like that so much. I was like oh I wish we were somewhere else while I was there.

I went to Alexi’s for dinner and even though a lot of people rave about this restaurant I don’t feel that it’s something that I would quite go back to. It did see a few good options in terms of food but I felt it was a little bit pricey and the quality it wasn’t anything extraordinary. I did have one of their home made cakes, which was pretty good but the rice it wasn’t anything special than any other restaurant that I’ve been to. The restaurant is well decorated and its a combination between finer dinner and casual restaurant but not exactly what I expected. The staff is exceptional and the service was great but the rest didn’t leave a huge impression on me. It is a great place for a relaxing dinner, with some wine and good company.

i have to say that I’m in love with Alexis outlets around KL. If you wanna have on of the most pleasurable contemporary dining and entertainment experiences in Kuala Lumpur, then you have to pay a visit to them. There are many things which make the Alexis experience so special. Here you will find style, warm, award-winning interiors. The design is unique, made to offer you an incredible experience. The food is high quality and they have delicious home-made cakes. The Service is impeccable and the ambience is just perfect But what I really love about this place, is the fact that they have jazz performances every Friday and Saturday nights. I highly recommend you this place for an outstanding experience.

I have visited a few outlets of this restaurant. In Bangsar Village I really wasnt impressed with their meals, but I thought the atmosphere and interior were just WOW. I didn’t like the décor in Mid Valley, however the food was way better than in Bangsar. ANDBSC Alexis is the mix of both worlds — YUMMY food and Beautiful décor. If you are a fan of Alexis — definitely go for it in BSC! :) MUSTTRY: Cheese cake and cod! :)

Alexis once used to be the hippest joint where you will never get a table without a reservation. This was of course before the emergent of hipster cafes around Bangsar Telawi. Today, Alexis retains much of its appeal. Food is satisfactory at its best; but the desserts are outstanding. Come for their pavlova and stay for a glass of wine. Best for tea time drinking.

Sirloin Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Calamaris! That’s why i come here. They’ve got a great menu ;Western delights, Italian treats and even Asian cuisines. From Nasi Kerabu to Wild Mushroom Risotto to Fish and Chips, you can definitely satisfy that unknown craving that’s been bothering you with choices like this. I often come here for dinner, the setting of the restaurant is somewhat intimate yet contemporary. The walls are decorated with wonderful framed photos and if you look closely, those photos were actually taken in KL. There’s plenty of space in bistro and should it be packed, you can request to dine upstairs at the bar. As you walk into the restaurant, you would have noticed the glorious selection of cakes they serve. Should you wish to have a slice for desert, just head on to the counter. They’ll help you out. I enjoy the coffee they serve here too. I don’t think it’s anything special, but theres something about the brew. It settled my stomach real nice after such a large meal. My favourite dish here has to be the Sirloin Steak. I usually have it medium rare and it’s usually cooked to my liking and it’s served with a side of mashed potatoes. I personally don’t like lumps in my mash and theres none in the one Alexis serves. The calamaris are to die for! I’ve tasted great Calamari before, and this one is definitely one of the best. Come here for great, delicious food and wholesome service. The interior design itself is a reason to come and have desert. It does get really packed though, so be sure to call and reserve a table.

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend of mine because she knows that I love carbonara. She was right, Alexis’s carbonara are indeed delicious. Besides their carbonara, I must mention their cakes! Their tiramisu in particular. Alexis’s tiramisu is not like the ordinary tiramisu. It is coated with nuts! I love nuts and I like them crunchy. My sisters are into their pavlova(fruit meringue) but I find it a little too sweet for me. Those two are their best seller in terms of cakes. Alexis is a nice place to hang out with friends over nice food and wine. Not to forget, desserts too! I am more into their cake. Hence, every now and then, when I don’t go over for their food, I still drop by just to take away their cakes whenever I have craving for them.

It was a rainy Sunday afternoon, my hair and I was desperately looking for shelter. We took refuge at Alexis as it was the nearest to us then. I’ve been here a couple of times before and was always seated outside as my and most of my friends are smokers. They have two or three small tables outside and you would normally have to squeeze in with the other customers but it comes in mighty handy if you have to borrow a light. I only go inside when I need to use the loo or see what kinds of desserts they have on display. The inside of Alexis is more spacious(seats about 100 I think,) very bright, with wooden dining tables and comfortable looking chairs. It looks like a typical, bourgeois family restaurant. The staff are nice and smartly dressed and their product knowledge is very precise. To protect your crowning glory from the rain, or to just hang out with your friends, this place is definitely one to consider.
