Oh, Lenny’s. What can I say about Lenny’s? It’s a complete and utter dive — until recently they had a cigarette machine in the back and only accepted cash. It’s the type of place that only regulars are allowed in. When you walk in, you’re immediately transported back in time and can easily lose track of how many hours you’ve been sitting at the bar talking to a complete stranger. It’s one of the places you hate to love, and HAVE to love, because of how trashy it is. That being said, I admittedly love Lenny’s, but only because I don’t go there often enough(or leave sober enough) to form any other opinion. If you like drinking standard beer(Miller, Coors, etc.) and don’t mind inches-thick dust, you’ll love it here, too.

Great dive bar in downtown Wallingford. Lenny’s has the best local sports memorabilia of any town establishment gracing its storied walls. Best place for a cold American lager and a pickled egg or pigs foot. Please don’t change a thing here– ever! This place is embedded in tradition. Oh yeah darts and jukebox will enhance your experience!

Ugly bar. Friendly service. Overpriced drinks. They don’t even have milk(like to make a White Russian).

Nice little neighborhood joint. It’s the kind of place where you can get a cold beer at a good price and have a conversation without having to raise your voice. That is everything I look for in a bar.

Old world charm bar where everybody knows your name.
