This is my first meal at Café RA … The general tso’s wrap was very good and the Cobb salad is very fresh and tasty!

I wish I could give no stars. Today was the second time I tried café ra, the first time I remember waiting a long time for food that shouldn’t have taken so long for what it was. Today I went in to grab a couple egg and cheese bagels, as I sat there I could tell the employees could not care less and had no interest in making an effort to make the guest happy, I wasn’t presented with a hi how are you just a blank stare like«whatdu want». You can clearly tell they’re just there to make a pay check and could care less about how the business does. As I stood there and waited I could tell they got irritated about the smoothies guests had continued to request, I get it, it’s a pain to make a smoothie, but it’s ur job, do it with a smile. After about 12 minutes I noticed a couple orders come out of the kitchen and placed on the counter, these were to go orders in bags, one of which was mine, but I was unaware it was ready. I stood patiently waiting for my name to be called and once 20 minutes went by I decided it was ridiculous and before the cashier could give the smug look to the next two guest I came forward and mentioned how I had been waiting 20 minutes for two egg and cheese bagels, he turned to the two bags to look and see if one was mine and sure enough one was. It had been sitting out for 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous, you could not pay me to go back here, although there food isn’t bad, it’s not worth ever having to put up with the employees and there carelessness.

Great little place for breakfast and lunch! Owned by j. christians around the corner, so these folks know food. I ordered a special, Greek wrap, with grilled chicken, roasted peppers, feta and olive spread. It was excellent. The fries were decent and the side of pasta salad was excellent. They have a huge menu, lots of options! When I went it was packed with kids from The private school in town, surprisingly they got our food and iced coffees out quickly.

My entire family loves the food and friendly atmosphere. We go often and like it every time. Good value as well.

This is an ok place. Maybe the big menu thing is what draws some people to them, but I think the novelty wears off quickly and often when there waiting for my food, I’ve observed many people who are there to order just seem overwhelmed by the menu board. The food is good. Not bad, but also not great. It is what it is. The décor feels more like a corporate cafeteria than a quaint, center of town lunch spot, but I continue to go there for the convenience.

A coworker and I both ate a salad on the same day and both came down with salmonella poisoning. Stay away plenty of other places to eat.

I have always had great experiences with Café Ra. I was sooo excited when it opened on Center st since that is right up the street from my business and my house now. Although I did loooove the salad bar at the other location I instantly fell in love with the ArizonaWrap #32. I find it hard to change my choice but my fiancé has tried many kinds and hasn’t been disappointed. I highly reccommend Café Ra for anyone in the mood for salads, wraps and soups! The wraps come with macaroni salad and pickles if you dine in! :)

Nice little sandwich shop. Healthy fresh choices make it a refreshing alternative to the local chains. If you are in the area and looking for a good lunch with fast and friendly service give it a try. It will certainly be my go to lunch spot when in this area. Thumbs up to fresh tasty simplicity. Well done Ra! Ps. Thanks again for the good deed cookies. They were delicious :)

while I have gone to Café Ra for 10 years, and while their food, and quality was once outstanding I find it has changed for the worse. I recently ordered a eggplant bread(I have been ordering them for 10 years) when I picked it up, there were two young boys there both around 18 maybe younger. When I arrived home the cardboard holding the bread was drenched in grease/oil. I removed the foil and the bread was saturated with grease. I grabbed paper towels and started blotting the bread, I used over half of the paper towels and still grease was coming out of this bread that looked flat and dark. I tried to cut the bread which was very difficult as it was hard to cut, the dough was wet/grease and hard. When I did cut through, there was slices of eggplant and no sauce(I did ask for only parm cheese no moz) I removed the greasy breading and I couldnt even find the eggplant. I tasted a tiny piece of eggplant and it tasted like oil and wet bread. I was upset to say the least as I was bringing this to a party. I called and spoke to one of the boys that most likely was there when I picked it up. I asked who made the bread that I picked up and he was saying different people. The Christian(owner) came on the phone, and said he made this bread it was specially ordered without moz and thats what happens. Nonsence, have no moz would not make your bread like a bowl of grease and burnt, no sauce of no parm cheese. He said he doesnt give refunds but come here and get your money. It was 2:30 and they were closing at 3:00. I drove back again and when I walked in the door I had the bread, paper towels I used and the box. He yelled at one of the boys to give back my moneny. Note I have been buying from Café Ra for 10 years, I have dealt with Christain personally on functions and catering. He wouldnt come and see the bread until I asked him to come and I had to do it a few times. When he did come I just touched the bread softly and a pool of grease floated to the top of the bread, he quickly walked away and said he fries his eggplant, well so do I and this is over processed eggplant cut so thin and fried not prepared as he has done in the passed. He again tried to tell me it was this way because I didnt ask for it with moz?(that makes no sence) and he became just plan rude. I think he has forgotten his customer service skills and that he thinks he no longer needs to explain himself or accept that he made a poor product. I will never return, nor request him to cater. Sad, his other restaurant is not doing well up the hill and he forgot what got him where he is. No longer his good food and I guess thats why people were asking for to go containers, not because of the portion size… small to overage, but his quality has gone in the toilet. Café Ra no more…

This is a great little sandwich place that is quick and a great place to go on your lunch break. I have tried quite a few of the sanwiches and they have all been delicious. Last night I had the #22 under Grilled Foccacia Sandwiches. It had sauteed spinach, sun dried tomato, provolone cheese and herb spread paninifor only $ 5.95! It also comes with a little side dish of macaroni salad. I couldn’t get over how great and filling it was! My favorite item on the menu is the #12 under Ra’s Famous Wraps. It consists of sauteed spinach, tomato, eggplant, and cheese with greek olive spread in a grilled wrap. I prefere this without the greek olive spread due to the fact I do not like olives all that much. My friend had the Sant Fe Wrap. Breaded chicken, bacon, cheddar, bbq sauce and ranch dressing fill this wrap up. This was so good I wanted to buy one after I already ate my sanwich. It is a reasonably priced menu. There is also outdoor seating.
