The service seems friendly enough, and the bagels are OK (not the best), but they’re HUGE. The size of bagels in general is getting out of control, but the ones here are just crazy big. After you eat one, you just feel disgusted. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and like a lot of places, they put about an inch of cream cheese on there and charged me three bucks. I’ll take 1⁄3 the cream cheese and pay less, thank you very much.

We don’t live in this area anymore (since 2012), but when we did WE LOVED THIS PLACE. My husband didn’t think it looked like a great place the first time we stopped in, but it quickly became our number 1 place. We still miss these bagels! SO GOOD!

I ordered an Everything bagel with cream cheese. It cost about 2.90 with tax included. The bagel lacked any flavor and did not have that soft in the inside & chewy bite you expect from a good toasted bagel. Even worse with each bite the cream cheese (which I would assume is an inexpensive brand) kept oozing out because it was so thin in consistency.
Service was good and their set up was nice but if you’re looking for a good bagel– I’d recommend Bagel Box in West Orange instead.

I consider myself a bagel expert and this place has mediocre bagels at best. It is probably because of mediocre ingredients and mediocre technique. The bagels have some shine to them but lack a crunchy crust. The service is very nice and the place is really clean and organized.

I tried to order a salad off their menu. The individual taking my order clearly didn’t want to make it and preferred all orders to be bagel oriented. He stalled by acting as if I wasn’t reading off the menu, above his head, and finally offered «You got time?» I said, «Why?» To which he responded that he would have to «Cut the lettuce!» Cutting lettuce and general salad assembly is arguably easier and faster than cooking an egg over a hot griddle. I’ll never bother coming here again. Maybe I made a mistake of ordering a salad In a bagel store but I wouldn’t have if they didn’t have an extensive salad menu.

I was pleased that my order came in good timing. I ordered a turkey eggwhite and cheese sandwich and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I’m disgusted that they would give me a sandwich with such horrible meat! I wish I could upload the photo. The sandwich also had broccoli residue and I didn’t order anything with broccoli. Disgusted

I heard from a co-​worker that if you like fat bagels, then Bagel Café was the place to go to.
I happen to like fat-​ass bagels, so I went.
One of the best bagels, but also, one of the best bagel SANDWICHES I’ve ever ate. It was packed with taylor ham, something a lot of places skim you on, but the bagel itself was delicious. If you don’t like a lot of dough in your bagel, then Bagel Café is not the place for you. These bagels are FAT and are filled with dough in the middle.
I will definitely be back as this is now my spot for bagels in Verona.

Whenever we order from this place, everything comes perfect and quickly. The French fries are even still crispy when they arrive. Won’t order from anywhere else!
