This review is specific to a visit on 12/30/2015 @2:35p by Cashier:1173847 at Store:80139. I would like to point out that my negative rating does not come from a place of hate or anger, but instead should be used to shed light on where this store can improve on customer service. My visit was 3 days post Semi-Annual Sale. Unlike every other Bath & Body Works I have gone to there was no greeter in site. There was actually no one on the floor other to assist customers other than an employee coming in and out the back to stock merchandise. I was attempting to buy a Wallflower fragrance plug in and refill for my office. I could not locate them right away because the product that I saw for plug ins and refills were all seasonal scents. Again, a floor representative would have been helpful in my search. When I finally got to the register I was asked where I picked up the product and was told that the items I was purchasing were 4 for $ 20. I agreed to purchase 2 more refills for the deal and was told by the cashier that I could go grab the other two. I took no more that 30 seconds to walk there and back. I assumed I would return to the register to complete my transaction, but instead came back to the female cashier helping another two guests, presumably a mother and daughter, in line. I waited patiently for about 5 – 6 min for the transaction to complete and was informed that she would be with me «right away». The older customer grabbed her items in a bag and proceeded to step aside. Her daughter then pulled out her bag of items which I did not see. The cashier then again stated to me that she would be with me «right away» and continued to assist the younger customer instead of completing my transaction. I was headed to work from here and just did not have the time to wait for another customer to complete their transaction. At this point I was a little frustrated, but mostly annoyed that the way the cashier handled the situation. After getting to work and thinking about what happened I came to the conclusion that the whole situation could have been handled a little differently. I get that they want want to keep the line moving, but I was offered a deal by the cashier. I feel that if your goal is to increase sales in this way, then at least have to resources so that your customer does not have to do retrieve their own items. One way this could have been avoided would have been for the cashier to have used her walkie talkie to ask a floor rep to bring the items up. Seeing as no one was on the floor, I get why that was not an option for her. The second area in which I feel the cashier messed up was to cause me to have to wait for her to close out two customers before I could be helped again. she could have easily explained to the customers in line why they were waiting or maybe squeeze me in after the older lady’s transaction was done. This experience is not one that will cause me to never go back, but definitely does not give me a reason to go back. I will stick with the other location located in the Southbay Galleria down Hawthorne Blvd.

I was last minute christmas shopping and most bath and body work are sold out of gift sets, but diana offered to personally make me some gift sets! They came out even better then the store made ones. she was great, and very friendly.

Just left from here and the ladies are friendly and helpful. Thank you so much to the lovely lady with the short hair at the register around noon. I appreciate her help and dealing with the coupons I had. She was even nice enough to get two different items. One for their body creams for $ 4(thanks for reminding me because I really love Vanilla Bean Noël) and then she got me my signature item since I got the incorrect one for the free product. She even offered the cellophane and ribbon for my purchases. I appreciate your help, patience and for being very nice! Happy holidays!

I came here with my daughters as we got a 20% off coupon in the mail. Mind you, I would otherwise NEVER go to Bath & Body Works, simply because I’m a male and not into fragranced items, for myself anyway. I figured we would get a few small things and be on our way. Before my shopping excursion was over, we purchased $ 75 worth of «stuff,» that after the discount. Talk about dad getting sucker punched! I will say this, the girls were super excited and the customer service was exceptional(thanks Cindy!). If you are looking for body lotion, candles, room sprays, shampoo, conditioner, car aromas, or anything to use when it comes to the bath, or your body, this is a good spot to look. The store is plenty big, and they have some good restaurant options in the immediate area. WARNING: They have several deals, «Buy 2, get the 3rdFREE»(as an example), and that is the pitfall that my girls fell into — so young and naïve.

I visited this Bath & Body on 12⁄11 and was assisted by Cashier #1702757. However it was another employee who took the time to explain to me how to best utilize all of my coupons and discounts on this trip to really make the most out of it. What a dear!

Bought a new body wash and lotion about a month ago from another location. After using the products, I noticed small bumps on my skin. Considering nothing else changed in my routine, I was surprised that the bumps could very well be the result of the new body wash and lotion. Since both items were used, I thought perhaps my only option was to discard of the items, until I reviewed my receipt. I returned the items at the Del Amo mall. Rather than ask why the products were so used the cashier instead apologize for the inconvenience. I had my receipt which was over 30 days old but still got my full refund. WoW I’m amazed at Bath & Body Works’ return policy and commitment to customer satisfaction. I’m very pleased. Needless to say I needed up using some of my credit to purchase additional products that were 75% off. Who can resist Thank You
