Avanti Body Jewelry

My sister told me about this place and I put it off because I’ve always been leery of mall body jewelry stores. When push came to shove and I was forced to get a new nose ring in a hurry, I headed to the mall. Boy, was I disappointed that I didn’t come to Avanti sooner! My fears of the mall body jewelry store were immediately put to rest when I saw how CLEAN and PROFESSIONAL it was! The girl working behind the counter (I wish I got her name because she was AWESOME) helped me pick out a post style nose ring that I can change out the «jewel» on. I LOVE it and I love how helpful she was in showing me all of my options and pointing out her favorite and why it was her favorite. I was totally at ease going into the store and asking for help and I am totally not in the pierced/​tatted club. I am not sure if they actually do piercing there but if I was in the market to get something done, I’d totally consider Avanti! It was a nice surprise and I’m excited to go back and get extra jewels to change-​up my nose ring!

Where do I even begin. I have several piercings and Avanti is my go to spot for new jewelry. Emily and Natali are the best sales reps there and extremely knowledgable. They always let me know the deals and give me the best deal possible, as I am always buying more than «one» of something. Don’t let negative reviews sway you from coming in, those girls know what they are talking about, the jewelry is excellent quality, and you’ll leave with a smile.

I went in here looking for new nose rings and they had tons to choose from with good pricing. Natalie and emily are awesome!

Great selection of earrings for my cartilage piercings. Staff very friendly and helpful, didn’t mind spending a long time as I was indecisive.
Word of caution, double check the post lengths before they put them in the sealed bags. I didn’t check mine till I returned home out of state and found 1 of the posts was a different length than the others and doesn’t fit :-(

Walked into this place looking for some earrings for my girlfriend. Little did I know I was going to get an awesome experience that taught me a lot about what i was looking for, which I’ll admit I was clueless about. The staff was really helpful with guiding me to the perfect piece and they were really patient with listening to my stories about this special purchase. I ended up leaving with a couple of pieces and found a great place to go get piercings done. These guys are your one stop shop and they know there stuff. I live in se Portland and don’t get out to Washington square that often but love this place so much that I look them up online, it’s just as easy as going into the store and you get really quick responses. Go check them out!

Good customer service, nice ladies work there. My review is on the quality of jewelry. My belly button ring fell out at the gym earlier that day – which I still have pierced just to avoid a scar – and in a rush I ran into the mall hoping I’d find something cute and quick. They have a selection of attractive items for this piercing but the quality is sub par. Yes, the sales lady mentioned it was something coated something else and to take it off before a shower. Okie doke, will do, and did. Still the jewelry tarnished in a little over a week to an ugly copper color even though I didn’t wear it in the shower. I’ve gotten better quality piercing jewelry at those random shops on every corner in any Oregon beach town AND at Spencers and Hot Topic. I guess I expected more from a former cart shop turned into an actual store front. Won’t be back.

I went into Avanti 30 minutes to closing to pick out a nose hoop. I was helped by Kayla who was super friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the selection and excellent service. I will definitely be making the trek out here again.

Great store run by a great staff. Every time I have been in they have been super helpful to find the right plugs for me.

Absolutely wonderful! I wouldn’t buy jewelry anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and sooo helpful.
The day after I purchased some new jewelry, I wasn’t sure it was the correct size, so I brought it back in. The wonderful lady working there was more than happy to pull all the jewelry in the size and style I wanted, and she was very helpful in helping me decide if I wanted to keep what I already had, or if I wanted to exchange it.
Overall, wonderful service, and wonderful selection. I would definitely recommend, and I plan on returning.

Emily & the staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to take a moment to chat. They put up with my endless browsing and constant second guessing. They have the patience of saints! I’m a pretty regular customer because I lose jewelry like a dementia patient. They even put up with me when all I need is replacement balls.

Great selection of body jewelry here. I have been looking and looking for a tiny hoop for my traegis piercing and they had a lot to choose from. Both gals at the counter were very helpful and fun.

I had been searching every jewelry store for hoop earrings smaller than 12 mm for months. They were for my daughter who was a gymnast with sensitive ears. I don’t know what took me so long to think of body jewelry!
I checked out Avanti since I had passed it so many times at Washington Square. Used to be a kiosk, but is now a store next to Penny’s.
The manager, Emily, was extremely nice and helped us out with hoop and stud options. In the end we got a great pair of piercing-​grade hoops in this crazy pearl color my daughter was immediately in love with. They barely skim her earlobes, so hopefully her coaches will be pleased.
We’ll definitely be back, especially when competition season begins and we need some team colors…

The owners of this kiosk are just the nicest people you could ever meet. The body jewelry is great quality and at great prices. You couldn’t ask for a better body jewelry experience. Can’t wait to check out the new STORE in Washington Square!

This is a great small business run by a great group of people. They have a wonderful supply of different types of gauges and other «earrings». Great couple who own it and my husband enjoy going there frequently.
