I used to swear by Ben Bridge Jewelers. I would take a ring that was purchased over 21 years ago there for cleaning and servicing and always had wonderful experiences at other locations. Because of this I figured I would take my engagement ring here to have it looked over since I needed it to be resized and the jeweler it was originally from was being unresponsive. From Ben Bridge I was told my diamond was cracked all the way through and that if the ring was resized the diamond would potentially be further damaged. I was devastated and left their store in tears. I sent the ring to a trusted gemologist who is not affiliated with any jeweler to get a second opnion and he told me the complete opposite. My diamond is perfectly fine and he resized my ring for me before sending it back. He also warned me that larger jewelry companies will sometimes try to get you to trade in your diamond for one of lower quality so they can make a profit. I don’t want to believe that this is what Ben Bridge was doing to me but I certainly got that vibe when I was told that they would never sell such a low quality diamond such as mine in their store. I’m appalled at their customer service in this store. I will never be doing business with them again.

Went there today and waited and waited for no service. I wanted to get my battery on my breitling replaced and look at Rolex. No luck. They do not do batteries on Sunday Mondays. Waste of my time. Two sales people on Sunday??? Really in a mall. Staff accordingly

I went in to this location to purchase a gold Presidential for my husband. Elderly sales lady(in front of customers mind you) took one look at my vintage stainless Rolex and loudly proclaimed it to be a fake. Scary that the people at ROLEX didn’t catch it when it’s been in for service. Anyhoo… I quickly schooled geriatric sales ‘lady’ and EVENIF a customer were to walk in sporting a fake, wouldn’t it make more sense as a SALESPERSON to be complimentary or at least KEEPYOURMOUTHSHUT!?! Sales 101. Bought the watch at Packouz Jewelers… and am buying my gold Presidential there now too. Great people(and they actually complimented and told me more history on my vintage Rolex…)

I was in the Ben Bridge store in Washington Square to buy a gift certificate(as they sell Pandora products and that’s what the receipient wanted). While I was there I asked if they did jewelry cleaning, and I had them clean my wedding ring set. The woman who did the cleaning checked the ring and said«This needs to be repaired. The prongs are paper thin!» I knew I had had the ring re-built and re-sized only a year earlier, so I was suspicious of this. Took the ring to another jeweler and asked him to check it out, and he said everything was just fine, no need for repairs. I think Ben Bridge tries to «drum up» business by telling people work is needed when it is not.

Good quality repairs for a quality watch. I had ultimate trust in my timepiece and they performed a quality recondition on it. I will be back for future service.
