Abercrombie & Fitch

My son is hard to fit this year. I found some clothes here at a great price. I think I was actually at Abercrombie and not technically A&F. Mostly, the clothes here are made for thin and tall people. It would be nice if their denim had more cuts. Maybe some short, regular, tall and husky. We actually found staff to be helpful but the smell coming out of the place is ridiculous. It smells like cheap cologne. If I wasn’t desperate I wound not have come here. I see potential though. This brand needs to re think their business plan and start catering to a more diverse crowd.

Dear Washington Square,
Please make A&F stop pumping cologne in the air. This corner of the mall is literally unbearable because of this empty, stinky store. When you can smell Abercrombie from the perfume section at Nordstrom, something is wrong.

Terrible staff ! Every time I go here there are 5 people standing around talking and one working. I have to wait in line for a long time every single time! Sucks!

A friend asked me tonight if I wanted to go to A & F tomorrow after work to check out their sale racks.
As much as I like their clothes and the sale prices on their clearance racks, I had to say no. Not because of the disparaging comments their CEO Mike Jeffries made in 2006 that went viral.
No, I stopped shopping here 10 years ago after being completely ignored by numerous salespeople. I wasn’t looking for a greeting. No. I asked for help at the front desk (I needed the gal to unlock a dressing room for me) and she continued talking on her cell phone (it sounded like a personal call), pretending she did not hear me.
I then huffed over to another worker and got the same crappy attitude. Sure, he opened the door for me, but looked as though he didn’t wanted to be bothered. I think folding jeans and spritzing their cologne throughout the store was far more important to him.
The strangest part is that — although I do not have kids — I am old enough to be a mother of a teen shopper… and who has the money? The mom! Shouldn’t I be the one whose ass they kiss? I can only assume they don’t work on commission…
It’s like they are trained to be aloof and snobby. Maybe that’s the attitude that trickles down from management; that «popular» kids don’t have to be nice.
Really, when I’m in the mood for mediocre-​to-​bad service, I’ll just patronize the hipster businesses on my side of town (SE).

Forget the loud music, the 6 – 8 employees who absolutely ignore you is ridiculous. They stand around chatting with each other with little regard for the 10 – 12 adults shopping with their children. I can truly say this place has a lot to learn when it comes to customer service, however, the clothing is good and their pricing is fair.

I personally don’t shop at A&F but was with a friend making a return.
The music was so loud we had to yell to communicate with the employee. It was decent music though.
Store seems a little dark but maybe that’s the «in» thing right now.
Personally, I love the huge moose hanging over the counter.
Once we found an employee, he was very nice and helpful.
They have several yummy smelling perfumes and little cards to spray and take home. Or to put in your car to make your car smell yummy.

This location is actually the kids store, and I loved it! Kids clothes rock because I can actually fit them… and they are cheaper! LoL.
