Fantastic! Spicy Charlie’s catered our«Jamaixca Jive» party for 50 guests, prepared a theme menu including jerk chicken & short ribs, 2 elegant, delcious salads(an awesome pasta salad & a mixed green salad with feta cheese & more), plantains, fruit platter, black beans & rice, rolls, all deliciously prepared & served on a buffet table impressively theme decorated by his team. A total professional, Charles Eu, owner & Executive Chef, visited the site twice to discuss layout, kitchen & catering details, & his team delivered serving pieces & decorated in advance. His staff, from cooks to servers, were all talented, efficient, helpful & friendly. Our guests loved the food, returning for seconds(the ultimate compliment). While the price was more than we anticipated, this is due to our lack of understanding of what is entailed in catering an event & that the food is just a part of it — the cooks & servers & any add-on services are additional factors. I must say, once I saw everyone in action & how hard they worked & beautifully as a team, I totally understood & the price was really quite reasonable for the result. Lastly, while Charles created a theme menu for us, he can create & execute many types of menus from French to American, & in between. Thank you, Spicy Charlie’s! We highly recommend Spicy Charlie’s for your next event, large or small, from a romantic, intimate dinner party to a corporate event.
