Great flavor and reasonable prices! I have tried several menu items over several trips. Most times the food is really good. They have a great happy hour and the main bartender, Franko, runs the place as if it was his own! Our favorite special is the mix fajitas. We always enjoy this plate and often take a doggie bag home. The rice and beans are even better with some of the home made salsa. I recommend this place if you enjoy good Mexican food and don’t need a fancy place to enjoy it.

Only thing that was good was the staff. The food was absolutely horrible. I will never eat there again and thats a shame because it is so convenient. SAD

We’re regular customers. The salsa and avocado dip are great, and we love the veggie fajitas.

We ended up in this place because the other mexican restaurant that I wanted to try was closed for the holiday(its 4th of July). We got quezo and chips for appetizer. Chips were crunchy but quezo was okay and guacamole was cold! We got the haciendas plato(beef and cheese enchiladas + beef soft taco + beef fajita in flour tortilla) and carne guisada. Everything was bland! I only ate ¼ of my meal and didn’t even bother to ask for a to go box. Service was fast though but that’s because we were the only customers! I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This place is good for groups and kids. Chips were crispy, I prefer thinner chips. The red salsa had good flavor and was served warm, it was mild and could have used a little more heat for my taste(they also had a green sauce but I didn’t try it). I ordered an ice tea it had a rich color and good flavor. For the entrée three of us decided to order the«Parilladas Del Cocinero» for three, it came with Shrimp brochettes(enough for 2 each) beef and chicken fajitas(we opted for beef only which was tender and juicy, you could tell it had been marinated so yummy), baby back ribs(enough for 2⁄3 ribs each depending on the size) they were a little sweet but full of flavor and fall off the bone tender) on a sizzling grill with onions, stuffed jalapheños(were not spicy and had a lot of cream cheese), bell pepper, pico de gallo, charros beans, sour cream, guacamole, tortillas(you can ask for corn) and rice(each person gets their own bean and rice set). Tip: eat the shrimp first or take them off the platter so they don’t get over cooked. We left the restaurant stuffed. Giving 4 stars because service could be better, the server was friendly but not attentive to refills and got part of our order wrong.

Great food and the Grande Margaritas were strong and good just like I like it. Food is great for the low price and the best part is its not a crowdy place.

The beef fajitas are always tender and flavorful and usually never dissapoint. You get a whole bunch for 11.99 which cant be beat. Sometimes the onions aren’t caramelized enough but that’s a minor issue. The salsa is always inconsistent in that it always taste different but it’s always tasty nonetheless. The chips are always fresh. Service is kinda slow but not terrible. If you want a cheaper alternative to pappasito’s more expensive fare then this is the place to go.

I have lived here my entire life, and we have never eaten here. I’m literally sitting at the table still, writing this review lol. Our service was okay, not the best. Our waiter didn’t have very good manners, but I can overlook things like that. He was not straight up rude or anything. I ordered the cheese enchilada plate, it was so good! My girlfriend got shrimp tacos, and she LOVED them. The chips and salsa weren’t that good. Chips tasted odd. The salsa tasted like it had a huge overload of cilantro. The tomatillo sauce was okay, a little spicier than others I have tried. Overall, pretty good, I’ll definitely be back :)

This is a frequent lunch hot spot for my office. We order carry out food and we keep coming back. Lunch chimichangas are very small portion.

I could have sworn I reviewed this restaurant. The service is almost always slow. The cheese enchiladas are the best, everything else is decent. Some items on the menu aren’t good.

The beef fajitas are extremely tough to chew. The rice was like day-old rice; hard. The beans were bland. I would like to come back to try their seafood dishes and hope it’s a better experience. There is soft-serve ice cream for free.

Bad Margaritas and decent Tacos. Would have been higher but the service was very slow.

Decent Tex-Mex place conveniently located in Stafford near Sugar Land. On our visit there were lots of big groups and parties. There seems to be a good Happy Hour here. Service was quick and easy. The food was good, and very reasonably-priced. No complaints.

Sick of the same old places? We certainly were… so as we were driving out of Sugar Land toward Houston, we decided to try a place we’ve passed on the freeway thousands of times. Las Haciendas is in The Fountains area of Stafford. We always grouped it together with the Chinese and American buffet places around there, and therefore had never been before. We were missing out. Ok, so this is no Cyclone Anaya’s, but it’s good service, good food, at a cheap price! We went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was pretty quiet(maybe 6 – 7 other tables were occupied). The tables and restaurant were clean(a pet peeve of mine!). The waitress we had was attentive. The food was good. My husband enjoyed his chicken enchiladas($ 8.99). My flautas were good($ 8.99). My only gripe was that the rice was obviously not made scratch. It was obvious that the peas and carrots in the rice were reconstituted dried veggies. I’d prefer that a restaurant not use dried vegetables in their rice. Everything else was very good. The salsa was spicy but my husband liked it a lot. The chips were good. We ended our meal with a shared piece of Tres Leches($ 4.99). It was good, not the best I’ve ever had, but good. I will say that for an entrée of $ 8.99, I was very surprised that the sodas were $ 2 a piece. That seems awfully expensive compared to the food. Overall, I’d suggest that you give the place a try!
