My wife and I stayed at the Wind Water Hotel from 8⁄16 — 8⁄18. we payed 169.00 a night and i will say it was a somewhat nice room. You could tell that the house keeping is done quickly and some things are missed. we found a bobby pin in our bed that was not ours so that makes me wonder about the sheets being clean. As far as the room. we had room #221 and it was nice butttttttttt you could tell it had been updated with in the past few years but you could also tell that it has had a few parties in it.
Nice view of the water from our room.
Plenty of space
Over prices. I could see paying 75 a night for this place but not 169.
We will be trying somewhere else next time.

You get what you pay for. We paid $ 34/​night from Expedia and when we arrived the sign out front said $ 29/​night. What is sad is how little effort would be required to clean up the grounds a bit, empty the over-​flowing trash cans, sweep the litter, etc. There is a flag pole where the cable clanks in the wind all night. The ice-​maker and pool pump screech loudly. The staff was insolent and suspicious. My room had only hand towels, no bath towels (which I failed to notice until I stepped out of the anemic shower). There are better deals on the island for sure.
