So hubby & I went here Saturday night because I bought the Seattle Times punchcard special. We had never tried Zeeks before & I don’t know that I would again unless I hear they have changed their dough recipe. As others have mentioned its a pretty fluffy doughy dough. Perfect for kids. But if you prefer something with a bit more bite or yeasty flavor you will not like this crust. We were sat in the small section to the right of the door. Impossible for servers to pass between the tables. Very cramped & uncomfortable. The section on the left however was full & full of families with kids. Disappointed with the beer on tap & bottle selection. Thankfully I believe it rotates but our Pilsner for $ 5.50 tasted like a $ 3 Budweiser & the other microbrew tasted old & flat. Too busy on a Saturday night to try to send it back to our server who couldn’t get to our table anyways.

Great place to take the family. Excellent pizza, good craft beer and friendly service. Probably want to avoid if you don’t like being around a lot of kid noise

The Cherry bomb pizza is fresh and delicious! Friendly accommodating service. What more can you ask for from the neighborhood pizza spot?

Pizza wasn’t special. The jalapeños tasted old and the leftovers are near impossible to eat with the crunchy crust. Meh.

Since I wrote my last review, the quality of the pizza at Zeeks has gone severely downhill. I used to frequent the Ravenna location 1 – 2 times per month, but the last few times I’ve gone, the pizza has had minimal toppings thrown into the center of the pizza. Several of the slices are mostly crust with no topping and the crust extends a good 3 – 4 inches in to the pizza. This is upsetting due to the fact that the pizza cost is nearly 30 dollars, and for that expensive of a pizza, I definitely expect more bang for my buck. The pizza I normally order does not contain expensive ingredients. It has chicken, carrots, cilantro, and bean sprouts. Half the time when I leave Zeeks, I have a sick feeling in my stomach after spending over 40 dollars on what is essentially bare pizza crust. I’ve tried to give Zeeks the benefit of the doubt because I really like their recipes, but the quality I’ve received the last few times is inexcusable. I took a photo of the last pizza I ordered to show that it was mostly crust. I will say, that I have absolutely zero complaints with the employees and have always received exemplary service, but unless they make some changes, I’m done with Zeeks.

I love their pizzas. They do skimp on toppings though especially for the high price. I once ordered green peppers on mine and 4 pieces did not have any. Oh well doesn’t matter because I LOVE the pizzas it’s worth it to me

The Zeeks over by SPU is awesome and I forgot that the one on 65th isn’t. How can two stores be so different?! The one on 65th is a bread pie. Just massive thick bread. If you love bread then this is for you. You will feel bloated and terrible. Pizza is all about ratios. Too much bread isn’t a good thing. Staff is nice and doing a great job. If they fix the crust then I won’t have to drive all the way to SPU.

Love the Dragon and they actually have a great cheese pizza. They are on the expensive side — ½ star and there are some better pizzas in town –½. Service is good and they are one of the few places that can handle really large orders last minute downtown keeps them at a 4 star in my book.

First and last time I will order. Too small for the price and where was the cheese!!! Six very small slices of pizza for $ 15… I can do better and get better tasting pizza.

LOVEZEEKS! I’ve ordered for 200 and ordered for 6 or just 2 and always get impeccable friendly service and great creative pizzas with fresh ingredients. The tree-hugger is a great vegetarian with more than the standard onions, olives and peppers. The combo pizzas are creative and delish. I will go back to Zeeks again and again. It’s not close to home, and I would go so far as to order it from work and take it home! It’s that good.

Awfully cheap and oily pizza. Reminds me of Pizza Hut but oilier. Don’t recommend it at all.

I’ve had much much better pizza than this. For a almost $ 40 pizza, I would say that even Papa Johns is if not equal then better than the same type at Zeek’s. Warning: They are very very stingy on the tomato sauce, I’m not even sure if they put any pizza sauce at all on it. Also, their cheese tastes like the cheese that I make when I put a slice of Kraft in the oven… it solidifies immediately and becomes this chew gross blob afterwards. The crust was so average, not thin enough for thin crush but also so hard and crispy that I thought I was going to break a tooth on it… dried out to the max. They didn’t even have garlic sauce for the crust, and anything extra costs extra money. I don’t care much about delivery if what I get sucks. Eat at Tutta Bella, or maybe order 4 pizzas at Papa Johns. You’ll probably get better pizza for the same price.

Good food, great service! The Greek salad was especially yummy. A nice place for kids — lots of them there on a Saturday night, including ours.

I have been ordering pizza here for over a year, but did so just last weekend for the first time in a few months. Delivery was extremely fast and the pizza was… good, like usual. There is nothing horrible about Zeeks, but nothing fabulous, either — except for maybe their consistently fast delivery. Their prices are disproportionately high when considering what you get. I paid about $ 35 for a large pizza with 4 toppings: pep, gorg, peppers, and sausage. Now if you got a good helping of toppers, I’d get it – but you DON’T. Very bare, light sprinkle of gorgonzola which you could barely taste; and very, VERY skimpy on the paper-thin pepperoni and breadcrumb-sized sausage. The pizza foundation is generic: thick, fluffy dough, almost deepdish style; light, thin sauce; and very generic, thin layer of cheese. The $ 7 bread sticks order is a joke. I got about a 12×6 slab of thin dough with some seasoning sprinkled on top! Thats it… No cheese, no nothing. And then they have the nerve to charge extra for red sauce. I order from Zeeks because it is close by and a local business. The pizza is not bad, but its not great either; for what you pay here, I expect a lot better.

Good food. Good drink. It can get crowded at times with big groups and lots of kids, but still a decent place for a casual pizza pie experience.

I fell in love here. How can I not give it five stars? The pizza is soft & the choices plentiful. Each pie is themed. Try the Forager, the John Candy, the Buffalo Soldier, Tree Hugger or the White Album. The Wild Greens salad is equally scrumptious! And you can always catch a game here.

There are lots of reasons to love Zeeks –they are constantly offering coupon deals in this tough economy, they help the community, they donate lots of pizza to local schools. For these things specifically, they score a five in my book. Its just that Zeeks Pizza doesn’t taste particularly great. Its a combination of things: the pizza has a doughy, breadlike crust and they lay on a ton of average tasting cheese. I unfortunately associate these things with frozen pizza, and I suspect, some cutting of corners may be involved for their product to taste like this. I do think they have great salads though, but this is a pizza place, and so I’m not sure that’s enough to redeem things. On the plus side, they deliver and the pizza’s arrive very, very quickly compared to other delivery spots in town. Despite the fantastic community service ethos, the pizza at the end of the day is not sensational.

Cafeteria pizza. Really. Waiting to be seated for school lunch quality pizza was no fun.
