I got Garlic Jim’s advertisement posted on my door with a promotion, so I decided to give this place a try. The ad had two locations to contact, Bothell and Mill Creek, and, of course, I called Bothell location for my address is in Bothell. The person who picked up the phone took my address and order(not to mention the guy sounded pretty frustrated working there). After about 50 minutes since the order, I got a call from Garlic Jim’s asking for my address again. Then about 20 minutes later I got a call from a different number asking for my address again! Each time they called, I told them the correct address and they had no problem verifying the address. At this point, I wasn’t sure whether they are delivering or not, so I called them again and they told me that their online ordering system is having some kind of issue. I told them I called to place an order and later they told me that they had to transfer to order to Mill Creek location as my address is out side of their delivery area. I had to call the Mill Creek location to verify my order was actually transferred and got it confirmed.(This number I called was the same number as the new number that I got 2 calls already to verify my address.) When I was talking to one of the employees at the Mill Creek location, I was asked to provide my credit card information again and they haven’t even started making the pizza. At this point, almost 2 hours have passed since I placed an order. First of all, they don’t even have a system that verifies the delivery area when you call. Then, they call to verify delivery address multiple times and not deliver. When the order is transferred to another location, customer has to call and let them know the credit card information again; otherwise, they will not deliver, but just give you a call to verify the delivery address!!!

Overpriced pizza place, you pay for the seating and the service. As of the food is average. Would not go again, no interest to double pay when I can order a same pizza at a comfort of my home.

I like this place, and their gluten-free crust is better than average, but it seems the Ravenna location has closed. The phone line has been disconnected and the space is for lease. Too bad.

How exciting it is to write a good Unilocal review and have management comment on it — that rarely happens! Usually management takes the time only on their bad reviews. Not that I want to write a bad review just to get management attention, but I was told(via the management comment here on Unilocal) awhile back that I was lucky enough to get a free pizza courtesy of my review. A huge and pleasant surprise! Months later, emails later, visits later(with at least 10 pizza purchases since!)… nothing. No response. It took awhile to decide whether a follow-up review should be written. End of the day: If you lack honor what else might you be doing that your clients don’t know about? Dramatic? Maybe. Fair? Yes.

The Ravenna location has decent pizza, bad customer service and super slow delivery. It’s a poorly managed location, the pizza quality is inconsistent, and 1+ hour delivery times are non uncommon from the Ravenna location.

This was my first ever gluten free pizza. and it was good. I mean, it was okay. I sort of knew what I was expecting based on pictures. The pros is that you for sure know their pizza is GF, and can see that they make their pizzas in different areas to prevent cross-contamination. They also list on their website what is GF and what is not. Also, they serve mini pizzas which was AWESOME ’cause my picky lil’ sister didn’t want to partake in the non-gluten variety. You can also order online which is always cool. Cons. it’s sort of expensive for what we got. Especially considering that the salads are a little bare(we had to get two for four people; just one was a bit small to share). Also, this place is a bit far and there’s not too many Garlic Jim’s around so I’m not sure if we will be back anytime soon. But if we get some good coupons, who knows, we may be back.

Well… I’ve been looking forward to trying this place, but my opinion at the moment is that they are completely rotten. I attempted to use a voucher for delivery, understanding I would pay a delivery charge. However, that wasn’t good enough – they would not even deliver unless I ordered a minimum of $ 15 worth of food INADDITION to the value of the voucher. I will now happily live the rest of life without ever giving any of my business to this place.

Garlic Jim’s is neither here nor there — they are not Tom Douglas’s Serious Pie but they are not Pizza Hut. And you know what? I like that. That makes them my go-to delivery pizza people. They have vegan cheese and gluten-free crust as an option. They often have coupons that I somehow manage to actually have when ordering. They are also very nice and pretty quick. If you are looking for something exceptional do not go here. If you are looking for something dirt cheap do not go here. But if you are looking for a pretty decent pizza for a fair price in reasonable time, I’d definitely pick up the phone and call Garlic Jim’s.

I’m not sure how this pizza can be called famous… maybe because it is famously bad? Ordered pizza to be ready for pick-up at 8pm, and it was. Both pizzas were correct since we had changed some of the toppings around although mine had a bonus piece of bacon which I hadn’t asked for.(nothing wrong with bacon though!) I got the gluten free pizza and the crust was a little raw. The cheese was just bad. They claim it’s 100% mozzarella on the box but yuck! Just because it’s 100% real does not make it good. It was worse the second day reheated just bad, hard to describe it though. My husband got the normal crust which was ok, but not crispy for a thin crust it was a little limp. Both pizzas had so little sauce it was hard to tell it was even there, and there was no seasoning both pizzas were bland. Also their medium is like a small at pizza hut but expensive… Needless to say I will be getting my gluten free pizza elsewhere.

Very disappointed. Came in for the first time using an Amazon Local deal($ 11 for $ 22 of pizza). Problem # 1 — realized we had been swindled for an additional $ 2 by the kid at the register because our total including tax was just under $ 22, so apparently he wanted his tip. Problem # 2 — when we got home to eat the pie we realized after two bites that it was pretty blah. Hubby had pepperoni and mushrooms and I had roasted garlic and artichoke on my half. Barely any sauce, barely any flavor. Even with the roasted garlic it didn’t save it. The place was run by really young guys who were very slow. We waited 10 minutes over our promised time. We won’t be back. You are better off going to Little Caesars! By far for chains — Pagliaccis is better, quality and taste.

Went there a few times after it reopened. Pizza was overcooked every time. Once I ordered a thin crust only to get home and find it was regular. Wings aren’t that great either, and one time they forgot my dressing. Staff alternated between rude and aloof. Might try it again in a couple of months. I’ve heard the owner is young and inexperienced, so maybe things will improve as they get more experience with everything and have some staff turnover.

Tried it tonight with my SO after our movie because we had the Living Social voucher for it. The Good — the guy behind the counter was courteous and when he was making our pizza, he looked engrossed, which was nice to see. The place looked clean and smelled nice. They also have calorie information on the menu on the wall, which is noteworthy(suicidal?) for a pizza place. The Bad — We asked for a recommendation between veggie and gourmet garlic and got recommended the garlic one. The bad part — it was too garlicyky!(Yes, I just made up a word, so get agitated) . The Ugly — Salt. Way too much salt. Probably enough for two pizzas. Yuck! Won’t be going back anytime soon, if ever. Even if there’s another deal. Yup, that much salt. The 2* rating description on Unilocal(«Meh. I’ve experienced better») was MADE for a place like this!

So after busting our butts in the yard yesterday, hubby & I decided we earned pizza. We used to get Jet City all the time. Then we started getting Papa Murphys Take & Bake. Recently we’ve been getting the deli pizzas from Safeway or Freshcetta frozen pizzas. We had never had Garlic Jims before but we were enticed by a ValPak coupon to try them. We were very glad we did! We ordered the medium Ultimate substituting jalapeño peppers for green peppers & a large canadian bacon. With the coupon, tax & $ 2 delivery fee the total came to $ 24.(plus $ 2 driver tip) We had a whole pizza leftover after eating til we were stuffed last night. It did take almost a full hour to receive the pizza. I think the UW graduation & it being a Saturday made them super busy. The driver apologized for the delay & provided us with a $ 3 off coupon. Both pizzas were delicious! Great crust and sauce. Would have liked the crust a touch crispier but figure when I reheat the leftovers in the toaster oven it will crisp up. Will definitely order from them again. :)

Was happy to hear they were re-opening. Saddened when the owner split hairs over an error they made. After getting home I saw they messed up my order– giving me two nasty aspartame Diet Cokes for the root beers i ordered. When ordering with them again a few days later I mentioned this and they said I could exchange one and pay for the other? What a cheap ass!

Open under new management! I got the garlic special with artichoke hearts, pesto sauce, onion et al. Really good, but not normally worth the price. I agree with other reviewers, coupons will make your visit worth it. Delivery, take out or eating your pizza with up to two friends(assuming no one else is there) at the little bar thingy is the name of the game here. Service is speedy, friendly, and leads up to delicious pizza!

I’m so sad this place closed because they made the best gluten-free pizza I’ve had. Not just good as a gluten-free, but good as any pizza goes. A little more money than just a random pizza joint, but the menu is interesting and the toppings really pop. Hope the others in the chain are as good, or one near this one reopens soon!

One step above your nationwide pizza chains. Garlic Jim’s gets points in my book for their unique toppings(roasted corn, multiple sauces, cashews, etc), their varied selection of veggies, and their chewy crusts. I also like that the online ordering is straightforward and that their are coupons galore available online. GJ’s is not SO much better than Papa John’s that it’s worth the extra money every time. If you’re just getting a bunch of pizzas to devour during a football game, you might be better off somewhere cheaper. However, their coupons make it all worth it. Search around online for special deals and you’ll almost certainly ended up paying what you would at PJs for a fresher pizza. A couple notes: –Delivery is not free. Order online and go pick it up. –If you order online, they don’t tell you when it will be ready. Either call to check, or just head over 20 minutes after your order. –HALFOFFYOURFIRSTONLINEORDER!!! Seriously, look for this one online. Well worth it – we got two large 4 topping pizzas for about 18 bucks. Great value!

Our pizza arrived late so we received a 3.00 coupon. Keep the coupons coming. Kudos, kudos!

Garlic Jim’s has a decent pizza… unless you are gluten free. Often times I am too tired to cook, remember Garlic Jim’s has gluten free crust and delivers! Woo hoo… well, until I open the box, realize I forgot to ask them to put«extra» sauce on the pizza because you almost can’t see the sauce they typically use and, oh yeah, they don’t have a vegan cheese option for those of us who are dairy intolerant. :( Well, if you don’t have to eat the gluten free pizza, go for it here. If you are gluten free, take the time, drive to Greenwood Romio’s. You will be glad you did.

I got the thin-crust– it wasn’t crispy(like good thin crust). I used a coupon for 9.99 pizza and then got bread sticks and soda and becuase my pizza order was less then 10 $ there was a 2 $ delivery charge even though my total without it was like 17 $. Sorry, no tip for you– and I got attitude when I inquired on the phone about the delivery charge. Too many better options to deal with bad service and mediocre pizza.
