Placed a carry out order online. The cashier was super friendly and made sure everything was right when I picked it up. Pizza was delicious as always!

My brother-in-law ordered two pizzas online so I could pick them up after work. Thinking he ordered through this location, he accidentally submitted an order at a West Seattle location. Right away, Damon came to the rescue! He looked at the online receipt and gave me a better deal. His coworker quickly got on the phone and canceled the other order(although I’m certain it was already cooked and ready to go). My brother-in-law’s money went back on his card and I paid a much better price for the pizzas. Thank you Papa John’s at U Village for turning an annoying accident into an enjoyable experience. Excellent customer service!

This restaurant has the worst customer service I’ve experienced in quite some time. To start I called because I wanted to get a pizza to share with myself and my vegetarian friend. They only wanted a few pieces so I asked if they could make a pizza that was 1 quarter different ingredients than half. I was told this was impossible even if I paid for the higher cost ingredient for the whole pizza. I relented because my friend was really hunger and got half/half. I also order ranch dressing because I love it with pizza but didnt have any at home. The pizza guy comes and(this was dumb of me) I asked if he included the ranch and he said ya its in teh box. Well it wasnt in the box even though I paid 1.50 for it and 3bucks for delivery and a 3 dollar tip… man guess I shoudlnt have to pay one of those. I called the restaurant and the manager wasn’t sympathetic and pretty much say if you order again i’ll throw in a ranch dressing. I won’t be ordering again after this mess. Thanks for that credit that I will never use because of the lying at my door and terrible customer service after

I want to give zero stars but I am unable!!! Worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced !!! Literally had my husband asking to go to hospital! My poor friends were so hungry after helping us move then we wait fucking two hours pretty much !!! After a fuck up of them delivering to wrong address and charging me twice!!! They give us all aggressive !!! Food poisoning!!! Never again and we have been serious long time customers who order pizza more than three times a month!!! Way to fuck up!!!

I was moving into my new home and decided to order a 4 pizzas for my friends because they helped me move. First they sent the pizza to my old address, even though I entered my new address. Then the manager argued with me about why they sent it to the wrong address and ended up apologizing, once he realized he was wrong. This is all fine, and then the pizzas came and one of them tasted a little funny. 2AM the next morning two of my friends, my wife, and myself woke up with food poisoning. It was the worst 16 hours of my life. I’m just glad that I moved into a house with two bathrooms. Please never order pizza from here. We know it was them because it was the only thing we all ate!!! TLDR: FOODPOISONING !!!

Such a horrible service. Hair came out from the pizza so I called in for an exchange. The answer was, «We have only short haired people working at the moment.» What am I suppose to say to this. The next phrase I heard was even more exciting, «Let’s not waste time of each other. What do you want.» SERIOUSLY what kind of service is this. THANKS A LOT.

I order a pizza online and after an hour I called in to see what was happening. They told me that they tried to call me but did not leave a message or missed call. If they left me a message I would have gotten it so that I would have been able to see that. Extremely rude staff. If i could give them zero stars I would. Will not order Papa Johns in this area ever again.

I usually would not write a review of a national chain pizza restaurant, but in this case I feel I must. I cannot tell you the last time(or if ever) «service» from a delivery restaurant has been so utterly deplorable. I was feeling pretty lazy one afternoon and the wife and I decided to order pizza. Instead of getting the usual from the reliable, local and pricey pizza chain we decided to go ahead and order online with the«Official Pizza of the NFL». Ordering online was easy enough and makes sure that you and only you can screw up the order. Submitted the order and received the confirmation email stating that the pizza would arrive in 30 – 40. I am a patient man. Sometimes to a fault. However after waiting 60 minutes I decided it was time to call the restaurant. The person who answered the phone seemed absolutely unconcerned that the pizza was had not arrived yet and frankly left me feeling that my ordering had been an inconvenience and could I please get off the phone in case an order came in. After more than 70 minutes I went online and used the Papa Murphy’s online customer comment tool to submit a complaint. The response said that the email had been forwarded to the«appropriate department». This occurred on December 20th, 2012. As of today(1÷15÷2013) they have still not responded despite the fact that I called the number provided in the auto response email and spoke to a less than apologetic or helpful individual who said he would email the branch manager and they would respond very soon. Well that was on 1÷11÷2013 and still radio silence. I was watching football with a friend and the commercial for Papa Johns came on and we struck up a conversation about the length of time both of us had suffered in waiting for a pizza from this location. I guess the best take away that i have from this experience is that despite sponsorship of my favorite sport there is no way I would choose to put myself through the torture of waiting for this company to take any action. The only thing positive I can say is that the response to a customers issue is handled a consistent fashion with the time it takes to deliver a pizza, IE, unacceptably slowly. One last thing. Fortunately when the pizza arrived it was cold. So cold that the garlic margarine dipping liquid returned to a solid state within 10 minutes of being removed from the box. While it has been said that there is no such thing as bad pizza Papa Murphy’s has made it very hard to enjoy such a simple food.

i have eaten the hell out of this place. i am usually a fan of independent pizza chains but papa johns, especially in the u district is the best location ive dealt with. im usually getting great deals over my phone and on thier website and the people for the most part are nice. the one time they messed a pizza up they have compted it and then sent an additional free pizza coupon. the delivery is never too long for me which is impressive becouse the pizza orders in a college district must be alot. i recommend this place.

This particular Papa Johns stands out above the rest of them. For one, every time I order the toppings are plentiful, as opposed to meager when I order from other Papa Johns(or other delivery pizza places in general) Today I ordered at 11:25 and the email confirmation said it would be delivered between 11:55 and 12:05. At 12:08 I get a call and answer«which side of the building are you on?» to which I get the reply«we’ve been really busy today so it should be another 25 minutes. Do you still want your order?» I think about it and consider the delivery time if I order Chinese(which was my original plan actually… really craving General Tso’s Chiekn today) and say«yeah I still want it.» I call the restaurant back 5 minutes later and ask if they can throw in some breadsticks since I have to wait longer. The manager is very nice about it and says«yes we can, but it will be in a separate delivery, unless you’d rather we give you a coupon for a free pizza.» I gladly take the coupon because 1) I get more and 2) I’d rather not make the driver make a second trip to give me free breadsticks. I have morals too you know! The pizza should be here in about 10 minutes and it’s grub time!

not satisfied. im a college student, so i live on a budget. so if im gonna pay 13 bucks for a medium pizza and live a couple minutes from the establishment, i expect to have my pizza in 30 – 40 minutes, not an hour, especially when its 5:00 pm on a wednesday. The problem isn’t even the wait. Its the fact that the pizza arrives cold! Not only was it cold, but there wasn’t enough sauce, the bread was too chewy. My mistake was tipping when I ordered online. Never in my whole papa johns delivery history have i had a bad pizza. this one was bad.

Order it at 3pm for it to be delivered at 645 pm. Got it at 643 pm. Talk about good timing! So perfect! The timeliness and on time deserves a 5 star! On top the that, the pizza was hot! I order online, and it lets you add the tip beforehand which I did, I think that made the driver happy and more willing to provide! Anyways the buffalo chicken pizza was yummy.

Pizza and college. Such a good combination! If I’m not mistaken, this store actually doesn’t get that many visitors and it’s people ordering from afar that make up the bulk of the customers. And given that there is a huge college campus not far to the south, it’s not surprising that they serve a lot of UW students. Wait, why am I speaking like Captain Obvious? I visited this restaurant in person anyway just because I happened to be in the area and had a coupon. It’s not a sit-down-and-eat place; they don’t even have tables, which goes to show how much emphasis they put on delivery. I’m not going to take off points for it because it’s otherwise a decent pizza place. Since the restaurant is basically one kitchen plus a tiny section for customers, it’s not very spacious and you won’t be eating your pizza here. They have four sizes of pizzas: small(10 inches), medium(12 inches), large(14 inches), and extra large(16 inches). They also have one offer where you get a free large pizza after ten orders. The prices are pretty reasonable and the portions are rather generous. One person alone probably could not finish one large pizza, even though they’re only around nine or ten dollars. I ordered the large buffalo chicken pizza they were promoting for $ 10. They told me the wait would be about ten minutes, and sure enough, it took ten minutes from the time of my order to the time it was ready for pickup. The pizza was cut into eight slices, very hot, very large, and very good. Included was garlic dipping sauce. The pizza also came with a friendly attitude, and I also have to take into consideration how it was quick and cheap($ 10.95 after tax). Apparently they don’t have a tip jar on their counter(I always associate pizza restaurants with tipping), but they accept them anyway. I split the pizza with a friend and four slices were enough for each of us. Such a small cost to feed two people! Even if you managed to finish one large pizza by yourself, it’s still not like it was a huge waste. I don’t know how much this place would benefit from having a dining area for customers. I asked the guy behind the counter what the closest equivalent would be and he said the McDonald’s across the street or Kidd Valley. I think I’ll stick to delivery next time so that this won’t become a problem in the future.

Yummy pizza. I always order the barbeque pizza, the cheese bread, and the garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is mmmm. I only wish they delivered to Queen Anne area.

They are ALWAYS late. This weekend is the 3rd or 4th time we’ve decided to order from this location and they told us to expect a 30 – 40 minute wait. Welp. .. it’s been an hour. Quite honestly, I wouldn’t mind the wait… it’s the fact that it’s cold when we get it that bothers me the most.

I remember the first time I had Papa John’s. My brother and I were avid fans of Pizza Hut, but couldn’t resist the urge to try Papa John’s after seeing commercial after commercial of a middle-aged Caucasian man explaining his theory of «Better Ingredients. Better Pizza.» The idea seemed so simple, and we were intrigued by the possibility of a better pizza(keep in mind we had a very narrow scope of what pizza was back then). So we went. It was on the corner of a really small strip mall. We got their standard, Cheese Pizza. I remember thinking how amazing that fresh, hot pizza was at first bite. The cheese melted on my tongue and the tomato sauce drizzled down my chin. That was a good day. Now, I wouldn’t call it a mecca of pizzas, but it certainly is a mecca of chain delivery pizza. My favorite part about Papa John’s is that their bread isn’t littered grease, and you can hold the pizza without having to use a napkin every other bite. There’s always a generous amount of cheese, and their tomato sauce is still great. Now add whatever toppings you want, and you got yourself a pizza party. And now, every pizza comes with that buttery delicious Garlic Sauce that takes the pizza party to the next level. Throw in some Garlic Parmesan Breadsticks sided with more Garlic Sauce and Pizza sauce, and you got yourself a pizza party that’ll be talked about for years to come. Okay, maybe not THAT memorable, but you get that I’m a fan of this place, right? I ordered from this Papa John’s in particular the other day, and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had, including a delivery time in under twenty minutes. That was a first. Awesome. Considering all the times I’ve had Papa John’s since that first time as a kid, I’m starting to feel like I have a second father. GET: Cheese Pizza, Garlic Sauce

Sometimes you just need to order a cheap pizza for nostalgic reasons. This is where I like to order from. I have fond memories of college and late night movies whenever I smell the unmistakable odor of their pizza. Now everything is done online. Which was a little strange honestly. I called in and was basically told to go online and order since it was easier for them. And it was fairly easy. A little too easy, since I ended up ordering more than I wanted to. And apparently they don’t let you add a tip on until the very end. So make sure to because they can’t add one on later.(boy was I pissed about that) Their drivers are always super nice and when I don’t want gourmet it hits the spot.

I probably wouldn’t normally review a papa john’s, but I had a really good experience here. I put in a late night order for a carry-out and someone called me immediately confirming it was for carry-out and that she could have it done in 10 minutes. When I got there, I made some comment that prompting the very nice and polite employee to state the they don’t normally do carry-out so late at night but that there was a glitch on the website. She wasn’t even going to say anything. With some of the service I have gotten around here, I was surprised I didn’t get a phone call saying«we don’t do carry-out, go online and do it right!» or something like that, so I definitely appreciated papa johns that night. They are one of my two favorite corporate pizza chains.
