Couple things before I start off, 1) I really wanted this to work out between Zaw and me. I’m a pizza enthusiast and the concept seems sooo great. Although I’m not sure exactly what Artisan Pizza is? 2) I’ve driven by this place for at least 6 months at least every day, and I did not realize it was a take and bake place. The pizza was just okay, I’d probably give it a try again.

Ordered the roasted veggie pizza with whole wheat crust and the basil, mozzarella, and tomato salad. All of it was super good. I love veggie pizzas but am not a fan of mushrooms, so I was nervous that the two types of mushrooms would gross me out, but that is not the case :) this pizza does have garlic but I didn’t think it was too strong. The regular wheat crust was really good and resembled more of a thin crust, which I liked, but if you’re not a thin crust fan, maybe choose the extra crust option. My only hint is not to order if you are starving. I was instructed to wait about an hour to pick up my order. Baking the pizza is super easy, mine took about 15 min rather than the suggested 10 – 14. I love that they pair with local wines and beers, perfect for date night.

Always happy with the pizza & especially happy with the service. Great employees –always friendly and on the occasion that there isn’t something in the shop that was stated in the online menu, they always make it right. Happy to have them in the neighborhood… now if they only delivered ;)(that would be worth more stars of course!)

This place is great! I went in last week for the first time. I had had not only a very long day, but a long week and was feeling more then a little grumpy. There were two men working and they were both SUPER nice. They made the extra effort to try and get to know me and totally turned my mood around. The prices are really responsible. I got a large pizza, a cookie, a salad, and a 6 pack for $ 30. It was more then enough food for me and my boyfriend. It’s an added bonus that everything is locally sourced and organic. I will definitely be going back!

We ordered in advance via their app. When we got there the crust order had been jumbled a bit. They were on top of it immediately remaking our order and while the paleo promo was happening we not only received that pizza for free(AMAZINGCRUST!) they gave us another pizza for free. So, we walked out with four pizzas(two gluten-free, one paleo and one regular large one-topping) all for $ 31.50! Over the next week we were thrilled to experience the amazing crusts. My son was happy with his pepperoni(reg crust) and the hunter/gatherer(GF) was a treat too. Our favorite crust, by far — was the cowardly apricot sporting the fabulous paleo crust. We’re definitely regulars now!

GAAAAAAAARLIC!!! Gawd damn, I ordered the veg head, or some corny named pizza like that and all I could taste was garlic. I will probably be tasting it all night long. Supposedly there were all kinds of wonderful ingredients on my pizza but you just wouldn’t know it. Many of their pizzas looked like goofy hipster combinations of otherwise tasty food. I’m surprised they don’t have a bacon/cronut pizza on there. The salad was alright but expensive. I don’t think I’ll be doing this to my G. I. tract again.

Best veggie pizza I’ve had. Such great veggie flavors, the thin crust is so good, wheat particularly delicious with the veggie. So good, tried others 3 more times after initial try, they’re that good! West Seattle guys are so friendly too!

I was really surprised at the quality of this take and bake pizza place. Fresh quality ingredients in a gourmet style that’s not stuffy. The crust is thin and crispy. you bake the pizza at home on provided parchment paper. I would never thought of that but now that I’ve tried it, when I make pizza at home I do the same thing. Get the two pizza special it’s a deal. Everyone will like it vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Five stars because I doubt you’ll ever find a take and bake pizza place this good.

We love Zaw! our favorite is the Hunter Gatherer. One of us has a gluten issue, so eating pizza out can be a challenge. We find the GF crust at Zaw is one of our favorites, and the fact that you can bake it at home and eat it while it’s piping hot is the best feature. Get it with a salad and a bottle of wine, and it makes a great and decently prized date night.

Zaw is our new go-to pizza place now that Red Star has closed. Expensive — but worth the price in terms of flavor, food quality, menu originality and good service. Be sure to ask for their 2 for $ 27 special, otherwise you will need a mortgage to feed a family or a small party. My only beef with their 2 For $ 27 special is only applies to specialty pizzas and not ala carte. Why not make the ala carte offer good for 2 or 3 toppings with an extra charge PER additional topping? And if the $ 10 pepperoni pizza add on(you learn about as you place your order) was a standalone deal, we would pick up one weekly for the kids instead of buying a bunch of pies on special occasions.

The BEST pizza in West Seattle! Everyone who works at ‘ZAW is really happy and helpful. If you’re not sure what to get, they’ll happily advise you or create something just for you! The Pig & Pear and Sausage and Caramelized Onions are our two favorites, but you just can’t go wrong with the fresh ingredients and super-thin, crispy crusts. I’m a huge fan of the wheat crust, although the regular crust is also very good. The pies bake up in a snap! Much tastier than any pizza you can get delivered in West Seattle. Enjoy!

I cannot recommend these guys enough! I was able to order my pizzas from my phone while waiting in the school parking lot for my son, schedule it for a time that I knew I would be able to drive by and pay for it all within 5 minutes. The pizzas are incredibly tasty and easy to bake up. They’re not kidding when they say to cook them one at a time though. Do not tread lightly on that suggestion. You and your pizzas will greatly appreciate that advice. The place is clean, the employees are friendly and jovial and their wine and beer selections are excellent. The only downside is the parking lot, which is tricky to get in and it of at peak times, though that would not deter me in the least. NOWGOGETYOURSELF A PIZZA! I highly recommend the My Big Fat Greek and the Chicago Deli.

I’m not sure what I expected, but I certainly didn’t think I’d love it as much as I did! We were looking for a great take out or delivery spot in West Seattle on a Monday night, not an easy task. We decided to take a walk and see what we could find. We stumbled upon Zaw, hemmed and hawwed, and decided to give it a go. I’ve patronized a ‘take and bake’ pizza spot before and was less than impressed with the concept and price. Anyway, the deal here is $ 30 for a large pizza, salad and a bottle of local wine or 6 pack of beer. Sounded like a good plan. We had a hard time making our choices because everything sounded awesome. We decided on the Hunter Gatherer(sausage and mushrooms) pizza and the Perfect Pear salad along with Fremont Octoberfest. The pizza was awesome. Incredible crust, delicious sauce– and big! I was originally a bit concerned about the size because my husband is a BIG eater, but along with the salad, it was plenty. The salad was incredible as well. Omg, the dressing was so good, I almost licked the cup it came in. The beer was ok, but we’re not huge fans of brown ales, so we’ll try something different next time. And there will be a next time, hopefully soon, since there are so many other things I want to try! I also love the wine selection and suggestions for pairing. All said and done, I thought this was a great deal at an extremely reasonable price, and I can’t wait to go back! Nice staff, too!

We love this spot. It’s on the way home and so much better than any other take-n-bake pizza option we’ve tried. The staff is so friendly and every pizza is fresh and tasty. The deals are also super reasonable(wine, pizza, salad… or a giant cookie, perhaps… yum yum). Our favorite pizza is the Pig and Pear on wheat crust. Give this spot a try– you’ll love it!

Take and bake pizza has always been spot on the very few times I’ve tried it. Dough, cheese, sauce and vegetables or meat heated to desired bubbly-ness: How do you screw that up? With time and experience, of course, you quickly learn how badly sauce can be concocted and taste in dough ranges across the board. Zaw has a very winning combination. Top quality ingredients, sealed and packed ready to go, sometimes with later-added toppings and instructions on a perfectly thin but not cracker-like crust. You can even order it ahead online. The only thing I would have liked to see on the website was how large everything is and, possibly, the ability to choose a smaller size than just 12″ so you can try a little of everything. They do offer«sampler» pizzas but they do not tell you how large those are so you have to go to the store or a regular customer to know. The parking lot is small and at an odd intersection of Fauntleroy and 35th which may mean more than one attempt to get in there. On a Sunday, the Dr. Bond Dental office is closed so the parking is perfect. On a weekday at rush hour, questionable. Great quality has a price. Zaw isn’t cheap even using the $ 27 for two special. Gluten free crust customers need to note that their pizzas are smaller than the standard ones and the price steeper. If these external factors phase you not, this could be the take and bake parlor of choice!

First time trying a take home to bake pizza and WOW was it good! Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can really tell the difference with the fresh pizza compared to a frozen store bought one. I wish they were open later. It’s usually late night when I want a pizza for home baking.

Really yummy last minute dinner idea. Stopped on my way home from work and picked it up. Crust is really thin, but not bad. I was happy I tried it, and will most likely try some of their other pizzas in the future. Only minus is the price… similar pizza to PCC refridge section, which is less $$$
