For me the real test of good pizza is the quality of a restaurant’s margarita pizza. In case you don’t know, this elegantly simple pizza is composed of only the pizza dough, red sauce, fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. If these basic ingredients aren’t special, the pizza sure won’t be. The margarita pizza fresh out of the wood-fired oven at Credo is the best I’ve ever had. Period. So fresh, so much subtle goodness in the crust and sauce. Bravo! The caprese salad is also special: lovingly crafted, wonderfully fresh with locally-sourced tomatoes and delicious mozzarella. My wife also insists I include in this review her great love of Credo’s creamy oven-baked mushroom polenta. We also had the pleasure of trying the owner, Jacque’s, delicious chocolate crepes! Available only on occasion, the house-prepared chocolate concoction is perfectly rich and melts into the fresh-made crêpe. Every dish as this restaurant is prepared with beautiful fresh ingredients and creatively assembled. If you are looking for the best pizza, pasta, salads and desserts in the Seattle area, head to Credo Pizzeria!

I just recently moved to West Seattle with my wonderful & lovely GF, Megan. We are both big fans of delicious pizza. I mean, who the EFF isn’t?! After a long day of unpacking boxes, we both were waaay to tired to cook up a meal so we saw that Credo had some great reviews so we gave it a shot. Holy gosh darn sun of a gun yummy tummilioucsness! The wood fired pizza oven brings their A game here. The best pizza I’ve had in Seattle in my year here. What’s more impressive is that Megan says it’s the best pie she’s had in her SEVEN years here. Super friendly staff and the owner goes around and touches tables to make sure everything is spot on. Overall, it’s a can’t miss spot and worth a destination visit even if you don’t live in West Seattle!

We drove here from north Everett last night for dinner. We wanted to try a new pizza place so we went on Unilocal looking for a place with good reviews and found Pizzeria Credo! It was a 45 min drive but totally worth it. We found parking easily which was a plus. As soon as we walked in the ambience was so relaxed and charming. Our waitress walked us to our table and was beyond excellent all the way through. Customer service is great at this place, the owner stopped by our table as as well. I ordered the Caprese salad and it was very good, it had beautifully fresh yellow and red tomato and yummy mozzarella. Pizza was on point! The crust was light and crispy with a nice golden color. We ordered the Quatro Fromaggi and Funghi. And they were both excellent. My husband ordered the Quatro Fromaggi but he wished it had tomato sauce which it didn’t but he still liked it very much. The Funghi was very tasty, loved the goat cheese and the eggplant was very tasty too! We will be back for sure! There were other pizzas on the menu that we want to try.

Where do I even begin! By far the best pizza in Seattle! Jack is a true artist and his passion for food and people is apparent once you walk through the door! The Con Carne is out of this world and the Manila clams are to die for! He has his own specialty made oil based sauce that is truly delicious to dip the pizza in! Not only do you get a delicious meal but you experience world class customer service and jack makes you feel like part of the family! You are missing out if you are in Seattle and don’t make your way to pizzeria credo!

We just love our new local pizzeria! They offer the best pizza in the neighborhood. Don’t waste your time, money or calories on those others. Talarico’s is more famous in West Seattle but awful! We also love the gourmet salads here. Everything is fresh, local and high end quality. A pizza and salad is more than enough for two people. Cute date spot… Fun on Wednesday with live music too! The owner is so nice and very personable. The guy that’s usually there making pizza is so friendly too and even remembers our complicated orders, lol. Check this place out!

Hands down the best pizza in the greater Seattle area, probably the best pizza I’ve ever consumed. And one of the most pleasant staff interactions I’ve had — INMYLIFE. If the idea of a Euro-centric, French-owned café located somewhere in Italy or France is your idea of a perfect meal, then this will soon become your pizza Mecca. The owner sincerely greets and remembers everyone, even if he hasn’t seen them in over a year. And in accordance with its namesake, «Credo» this bit of Heaven is meticulously run with the type of conscientious efficiency every restaurant can only dream about. Credo is so much more than a pizza joint. It’s a high-end cultural experience taken right out of Europe and placed gently onto your table. Credo is so far above any pizza place I’ve ever been to, it’s really hard to compare it to anything that exists in the U.S. It’s in its own category where they have forced to raise the bar. From perfect taste to creative presentation, expect to be seduced then impressed.

I love this restaurant! Been several times and always have a wonderful experience. It is comfy, the food is yummy and management is top notch. Pizzas are delish. The crust is perfect to my liking. I typically don’t eat the pizza crust but theirs is so delightful. Not overly chewy. Haven’t been disappointed with anything I’ve tried yet. The pasta is made fresh. Came on New Years Eve and they were trying to close early. No reservation but they didn’t turn us away. We got to eat and tried to be respectful of their closing time. We were gone before many others who had been sitting longer than us. Definitely will be a regular here when craving pizza. It’s family friendly but there’s also a bar. You can watch the gentleman make the pizza pies in the front by the window. It’s easy to support a small businesses that serves quality food to their customers.

It’s like eating pizza straight from Italy. This restaurant is amazing… They are kind, welcoming, and actually want to get to know you. We come here often and always have a wonderful experience! The owner even comes over to check on you. It makes being in the junction feel even more cozy.

I word sums up my experience here– meh. Not bad, but I probably won’t be back. Nice things– Service was great, and the place is cute. I also thought the crust on my pizza had a really great texture and was pretty tasty. Meh things– I didn’t think the cheese and toppings were very flavorful. Compared to a place like Mioposto, I was pretty disappointed. Again, nothing bad, but it was middle of the road. If you’re hankering for pizza and in the area, this place won’t give you a bad experience, but don’t look for a wow factor.

My husband and I just moved here from California and are going through the trials of «getting our go to food joints»…I must say this is the best pizza we’ve had since we moved. We were told about this place by our super sweet and helpful leasing manager at our new apartment building! We’re definitely coming back to this place for pizza! Their menu is small but worth it! They have pasta specials posted by the entrance.,.so make sure to take a look at that!

I love this place! The pizza and salads are outstanding, the service is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff welcomes my one-year-old and shows her a lot of kindness. I’m impressed by the delicious and affordable wine list. This is our new go-to pizza spot in West Seattle.

Easily the best pizza in West Seattle – hands down. The owner and chef is such a sweet, nice guy. He walks around greeting tables and makes sure that everyone is enjoying their meal. He adds to the already great atmosphere and pretty restaurant. The crust is what makes each pie so spectacular. The texture is the perfect balance between soft, chewy, slightly crisp, and all around amazing. The toppings, cheese and sauce are so fresh. You can really taste the difference. Ok and the very best part? The seasoned oil they put at each table to eat with your pizza. Soooo good. I put it directly on my pizza or I’ll put it in my plate and dip pieces into it. I really wish the sold it or provided little to-go cups of it for leftovers. Yummmmmm!

The best way to end a long day is to drink and eat. In West Seattle, you’ve got choices. However, not all places are created equal. Even though you’ve got several pizza joints near the junction, let me tell you why you should walk past that place with the mega-slice for a higher quality pie with better ambiance and service with a smile. The owner is a sweet and humble man that simply looks to please. Don’t like an ingredient on a pizza? Ask and ye shall receive alternatives. Have a favorite? Tell him and he’ll remember you next time. Great wines and even better food. Worth a stop in to explore. A couple could easily eat here for under $ 30 including a pie and 2 glasses of wine. Now go!

A friend of mine were deciding where to eat on Halloween, and settled on a sushi place in the Junction. However, said restaurant was closed so we were forced to think of something else. Being as indecisive as we are, we were having a hard time thinking of somewhere else and were going back and forth with one another. As we were squabbling, a stranger happened to pass by and hear our distress. He said, «If you guys are looking for somewhere good to eat, go right in here to Credo. If I wasn’t meeting friends at another restaurant, I’d be going there. The guy’s a French chef.» And then he walked away. We looked at one another, shrugged, and entered the doors directly behind us. When we walked in, the entire place was empty. Unsure if he was even still open, we timidly walked in a few feet and announced our presence. The Chef(I’m sorry I can’t remember his name ;n;) greeted us and assured that he was open for business. As we took our seats, he was quick to get us our drinks and was very friendly about everything. We weren’t really in the mood for pizza, so he offered pasta dishes. We both decided on shrimp Alfredo linguine. After only a few minutes, he returned with our dishes. They were absolutely beautiful! The flavors were beyond amazing. We both have to say that it was the best Alfredo we’ve ever had. The shrimp were huge and so flavorful. And the pasta was cooked perfectly! We will definitely return for this same dish!(And hopefully others.) 10/10, will be back for more.

Two things I am always look for when I travel. Great burgers, and great pizza. This is my second order from Pizzeria Credo — and it was fantastic(again). This is my favorite kind of pizzas — great thin crust with enough chew and fluffiness — done in a good hot brick oven. Light touch on the sauce and toppings made for an excellent balance. I had the Parma pizza which has parmesan cheese, prosciutto and is topped with arugula.(I wanted my usual sausage & mushrooms — but decided to go with something different.) This is a fantastic pizza — beautifully flavored, light and great contrast between the salty ham and sweet sauce/crust and slightly bitter arugula. There is a super friendly, welcoming vibe in the store and I’m glad I ate in instead of ordering out this time. As Arnold once said«I’ll be back»

I loved this place! I was super exhausted when we came here and just needed some food in my stomach before passing out(sleeping). So I didn’t venture out to try any of the beer selection but it looked pretty great. I had the Margherita pizza which was way above my expectations. The slabs of fresh mozzarella was AMAZING. And the fresh basil. Uggghhhh so good. We also ordered toasted ravioli as an appetizer and it was so good too. It comes with 5 or so larger raviolis but I wouldn’t say it’s enough to order as a meal if you chose to. Our waitress was great! She was very friendly and knowledgable. I could tell that we would have gotten along great if I wasn’t fighting to keep my eyes open. She seemed like a lot of fun. Definitely try this place out! I believe you can also grab a slice to go instead of sitting down.

My boyfriend and I stumbled into this spot on one of those nights where we couldn’t figure out what to eat for dinner. He’s an east coaster and tends to be a wee bit critical about pizza on the right coast. We were seated right away by a brand new server and the owner quickly came by to welcome us in, offered to provide menu suggestions, etc. He mentioned he had just that morning bought gorgeous tomatoes from the farmers market and suggested the caprese salad to accompany our pizza. We watched our pizza go in and out of the stone oven in the front window and when it was delivered by the chef, the owner brought by a homemade chili oil he suggested we use on top. Every suggestion was spot on — the salad was fresh and flavorful, the pizza was amazing(BF said it’s the best he’s had on the West Coast ever) and the service was delightful. If you’re in the mood for pizza — definitely stop at this charming spot. This small business deserves the attention!

Nice employees, nice ambiance, excellent menu, I want to try everything. We ate 2 pizza combos, clams and meat and anchovies and three cheese. We also ate clams soup which came with home made pizza bread to dip in the savory broth. We also tried the shrimp martini salad with guacamole. All were WOW delicious! Highly recommend!!!

Really, what can I add that others haven’t said already? Apparently a lot since in proofing this I realize I just wrote a novel but if you read nothing else just go. Order anything it will be great and if you love your tastebuds, order the Sophia Salad. Only available some nights or by calling in advance but I promise you, its worth the effort! My honey and I have been here probably 40 times over the past year and while that may make you think we are partial it’s quite the opposite. Any place that can keep my attention that long has to be a cut above. I am still shocked at the consistent quality. Bar none this is the best wood fired pizza I’ve had outside of Italy. The crust is so tasty you don’t want to leave it on the plate — especially if you say yes to the a special chili olive oil offered. OMG — angels capitulating on your tongue! My personal fav is the Parma but the honey is partial to the Con Carne or the Alla Sasa. That saiid I’ve had every pizza on the menu except the seafood ones(somehow seafood on a pizza just seems wrong to me) and they have all been wonderful. You are more a pasta fan you say? Then get the gnocchi with sausage vodka sauce. So. Very. Delicious. But all and I mean ALL of that pales to the piece de resistance — the Sophia Salad. The only way to describe it is a labour of love. 75 ingredients — many of them flowers– and no two bites alike. And now, I’m with you. 75 sounds like a lot and how in the world does it all work together? Well I don’t know but it does. You can literally taste love in every bite. Each unique — each exquisite and a prefect marriage of flavors. You could say I’m a romantic — and you’d be right — but knowing this salad is made in memory of a lost love just makes one yearn for a love that nuanced and thoughtful. Treat yourself and ask for Sophia. Your tastebuds will thank you. And when you become addicted, don’t say I didn’t warn you!

This is by far the best pizza that I’ve had in Seattle. It is not pretentious at all. You will be greeted and welcomed in. My wife is sensitive, but not allergic, to gluten and she almost finished her whole pie without any issues. The other pizzeria(that has numbers after the name) that I’ve had felt stuffy and the pizza was mediocre and not worth the money. Credo is VERY reasonable with pricing and is well worth it. For the pizza… I had the con carne. I normally don’t like a lot of toppings but this was well balanced and flavorful. I love the little pepperonis! The crust was crunchy but still soft inside. Is it too soon for another??? In conclusion, you are only hurting yourself by not trying this place out. My wife and I really enjoyed it and I’m sure we will be back… soon.
