I work in Belltown and have the option to literally eat lunch any place in Seattle. This place is convenient as it is right behind my work. I probably would have never even noticed it was a lunch place as it looks more like a coffee shop from the outside. A colleague recommended it. It is a full fledged lunch operation owned and operated by a nice Asian family. The place is small so it’s best to get a sandwich to go but you can certainly find a table to eat in there, but not with a larger party. I get the BLT here, but one time they regretted to inform me that the bacon wasn’t ready yet. As a result they said I could get any sandwich on the menu for the same price as the BLT and they gave me a free bag of chips. I got the French Dip and am glad I did because they make a great one. Great attention to detail with their sandwiches and solid customer service

I have not had a single good experience here and the only reason I go back is because it is at the bottom of the building I work in. Now I refuse to go back even if I just want a can of soda. The salad bar is a joke. You are required to spend at least $ 4.50 and it contains whole carrots. How am I suppose to eat a salad with whole carrots in it? If you use a card and it is under $ 5 they charge you, which I understand but when you spend $ 4.96 and they will not cut you a break it is pretty ridiculous. I tried to order a taco salad with ground beef and I was told«you don’t want that», I assured them yes I do, and was then told they didn’t have very much ground beef left. My co-worker had a similar experience where they talked her out of her meal choice and gave it to the person after her. Everything is WAY over priced. $ 1.10 for a can of soda plus tax. The people are generally nice but I would not recommend this place unless you are about to pass out from hunger.

I love this place. Small family owned business and the food is good. The owner John is so amazing and I love going in there for lunch. I’m going to try it for breakfast. The panini sandwiches are delicious and I plan to eat here at least twice a week.

Had a café mocha and bagel with egg, cheese, and sausage. Food was alright, nothing too fancy with a wow factor. Place was clean, and the employees were very friendly and accommodating.

We stopped in for bubble tea because we were dying on our way to the space needle. The bubble tea was amazing and they blended it making it that much better. Definitely a great stop

Yuck. I really wanted to like this place. I was really excited to get a bibimbap lunch, not too far from home. The woman behind the counter was really friendly. I liked how they had handmade greeting cards for sale and posters for local events on the wall. I carried my bibimbap home, I could feel how hot it was through the bottom of the bag. I came home and I was so excited to dig in. But first, to be civilized, I dumped half in a bowl, rather than eat from the take out bowl. I realized then that I hadn’t exactly poured it evenly, I had poured from half of the bowl, getting beef, mushrooms and rice, but missing some other ingredients entirely. But I didn’t care, like I said, I was too excited to get eating! I scooped half of the hot sauce on it, stirred it up, and ate. It was good. So good in fact, that after one bowl, I was feeling kind of full, but still wanted to refill my bowl and finish off the bibimbap.(Perhaps this has been my downfall for quite a while now — I always want seconds. But I digress.) I went back to the kitchen, dumped the rest of bibimbap in my bowl, poured the rest of the hot sauce on top of it, and sat back down to eat. And that’s when I saw that the egg had blue spots all over it. I tried to think if there was any other explanation besides mold. The red cabbage? Probably not. The thick red hot sauce? The black mushrooms? No, I couldn’t come up with one. I’ll upload a picture so you can judge for yourself. Unless someone else can offer me an explanation beside mold, I’ve got to give World Class the dreaded one star. I’m really sorry, I really wanted it to be good.

This place is greatly improved as a place to get lunch. They have specials on a weekly rotation that includes everything from bibimbap(Korean dish; essentially mixed vegetables and rice — delicious) to broccoli-beef stir fries, to spaghetti and meatballs. The people are nice, they get the food out pretty quickly, and it’s actually pretty good. If you haven’t been there lately and you’re in the neighborhood, I suggest you check it out.

I went here as an alternative to Starbucks to grab some early am b’fast — the bacon and egg croissanwich was excellent — coffee(drip) was good — overall way better than Sbux for b’fast sandwiches.

Well, I have mixed feelings about this place. I work in the same building in the offices upstairs, so I’ve had quite a few cups of coffee/cappuccinos there. First off, the tall gentleman referred to in the former review is the best thing that ever happened to that espresso machine, and far from«brain dead». Before, the coffee drinks were –meh at best, but the location was so convenient I didn’t have time to walk 5 blocks on my ten minute break just for some caffeine. Once the tall guy showed up, he assured me that he could make me the best cappuccino I’d ever had, and damn was he right! The foam was so smooth and the shot was better than any other shot I’d had there. That being said, the man is doing the best with what he can. I do wish they’d try a different brand of bean, but I’m no connoisseur. The food is, again, –meh. The sandwiches and salads are pretty decent. Good for the price. I’ve heard that manager though, she’s a tough one. Can’t say I appreciate the way she talks to her employees.

Quad Tall Americano. Simple? Apparently not. Slow service(albeit with a smile) and bitter coffee.

Yeah, you would have to be a fool to order espresso here, my friends. Not that I even tried. I can tell when a joint is gonna serve up a good cup of the steamy stuff, and this ain’t it. This is a casual joint. A joint to get a grilled sandie when you are on the go. Maybe a cola on the side outta tha cold case. I recommend anything grilled.

This place is right by my work so I’ve gone there many times simply out of laziness. The café changed owners a couple of years back and revamped the menu, so now they offer bubble tea and some pretty good lunch menu other than just sandwiches(like Yakisoba every Friday) as well as soup, salads, and the typical coffee house snacks. The coffee, however, has gone straight downhill. Previously there was a barista or two who just didn’t make my drink quite the way I liked it, but for the most part they were consistently good. That is no longer the case. The last few cups of coffee I had there tasted absolutely burnt, almost to the point of undrinkable, and after the last one I vowed never to go there again — this is Seattle, there’s always another coffee shop around the corner — or across the street — or next door. My advice, looking for lunch — go. Looking for coffee — no.
